The kenwood rc 700 remote is not available anymore. and the switch is from a golf 2 car door, the led are from ebay, and magnet set from lokal store

Nice job very clean and matches the car perfectly. I'd love to know what kind of paint you used. It wasn't shown but you must've block sanded in between coats?very impressive.
thanks. I use black ground paint for outdoor and finished with matt clear lacquer for use outdoor ( matt clear lacquer normally used for painting house wooden window frames and doors it is strong paint and it can handle hot sunlight and rain / frozen | wear-resistant varnish layer )

I use foam from a old car seat and carpeting with leather
That turned out very nice! I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring JXi convertible and I hate the way the center console is designed. The cup holders are way too close to the under side of the dash for a cup or water bottle to actually sit in. Your video just gave me some really good ideas how to customize mine. Thank you.

If those wires and screws were hidden or covered this would look 100% authentic as if it were factory standard, that's the only thing that differentiates it between DIY and professionally built. Great work overall though.

I dont know about it, i do this just for the Fun / Hobby

Good :-) Use a pen and paper and draw easy things for making, not make it to much complicated.
And not make it to fast, wait some weeks or months before u going to make it, otherwise you have make it and get a new idea, and than you have to start build all over.
Take for all what you want to make the time and you will like more the end result for a long time :-)
Looks like its stopping your driver seat from pulling forward or tilting forward to allow someone in the back?
The seats can pulling forward and backward ( but i am the only driver from this car and all fits to me ),
the seats can up and down and the backside also but not all down, my car is not allow for people in the back,
because i am long so there is also no legs space behind the seats. but when ur handy u can make the seat back adjustment button other side from seats.

The led is in the wood at 11:48 min in front of the hinge

The led light shine to the front, make a small hole into the wood plate and a small hole in the plexiglass but not to deep. just a place were u can put the led between and than the light shine around the edge, try it with a test plate

How you put the LED-s unter the plexy? ( The blue ones ) I got a similar project and mine does not work.... i dont get the light on the edges...
make a small slot in the plexiglass and wood on the spot where the led is

Its a nice car, but i dont know much about cars
How thick and long is that MDF? Also what padding did you use inside? Was that foam?
0,47 inch thick and 28 inch long, but you need to use cardboard first to get the size that u need, because I not use golf 2 seats, and inside is carpet

I dont know.. i make it all on the eyes, and it have many sizes, its to much difficult
Yeah that's true. I'll just try to get my own sizes! Btw i was thinking about mounting my amplifier under my golf 2 back seat. Do you think this is possible or will this get to hot? Because there isn't any air flow..
Yes thats possible, only you have to cut/remove under the back seat some foam and remove a steel pen, and it need some plate under the seat otherwise its to soft for sitting. but i dont know if amp go very hot. ( maybe some space for small pc cooling fans)

I use Plexiglass / Acrylic glass

how do you fix it to the floor? Screwed to floor?
No its fits perfect between front and back console, It can no way moving,
if u want it on the floor then just make some plate on the floor but its not easy because of handbrake cables
