I was thinking the same thing there has to be a lot of reflection there. I also didn't see any kind of alignment as to where the center line is. I myself always aim the speakers to the opposite headrests on the back seats I think it makes for a better sound stage. If you are sitting in the driver seat for example, you want the sound to hit your left ear as much as possible and not pass in front of your face. I'm not an master installer, but I've done at least 30 or more 3 way installs with custom pillars and have some experience.
