When the plague doctor haves a swag walking in the middle black death be like:
I am imagining him doing the stayin alive walk in the middle of a village street covered with dead bodies and people suffering from the plague, just flat out grooving.
You have me imagining him doing his best John Travolta as Tony Manero strut shot-for-shot with the film through a nasty Medieval street, complete with cobblestones and dung. He even stops to model a boot at the cobbler's and picks up flavored bread (think focaccia without the tomato as found around Milan) instead of pizza.
There is something very Python-esque about this.
My thoughts exactly! 😀

Stayin Alive in the middle ages was tough
Two thirds of Europe be like:
This is one of those songs that has always made me wonder if a "hit" is a hit only in its time or does it have a quality the transcends the present time. Would this song have been popular in the Big Band era or the Jazz age, or, well, THIS era?
John Lennon said he didn't mind covers of their songs because 'a good song's a good song whether you speed it up or slow it down or whatever.' As was so often the case, he was right about music.
When you find out that because people had low-quality/no shoes in the middle ages so they stuck their feet out far in front of them when they walked to make sure they didn't put all their weight on something sharp, which means that the Morrowind strut was an actual thing at one point
"Why did we not think of this." Everyone during the Black Death
