    For the keyboard, you can push it out from the back. Look at the fan, there is a keyboard symbol on it with an arrow. That’s the place you push the keyboard out.

    • @ItsBinhRepaired

      Yup, but you'll need a small tool to push it out.

    For anyone with an HP 840 G6 that cannot get the base off after getting it popped open, you need to loosen the two recessed screws right by the top footpads in this video. I spent an extra couple minutes before looking into another video because I was worried about pulling too hard. I know he didn't do it in this video and it came off easy, so if you have the same problem I did make sure you loosen those other two screws (two small black holes in the top row in this video).

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Gee, I wonder what type of screwdriver you use and who you buy computers from. Only incompetent people are afraid to use metal tools, so they use non-conductive ones that they can slap around the inside of the computers. You must be deathly afraid of removing any screws, and think that the heatsink isn't a removable component...
      The real amateur is yourself, which is why you came here looking for how to take a computer apart... lol

      Technically if you use a USB one outside the laptop, then yes.
