Finally someone talking about the stuff that actually matters to people that ride bikes like this - no mentioning of the radar assisted cruise control for the first time 😂 well that someone is no other than Chris himself. Always a pleasure to see you ride - cannot wait to give the new R a spin in the dirt 😎

@@tontonn9995 I actually had the chance to ride one too by now - in the dirt - not as bad ass as Chris of course and yes, no radar sensor on the R - instead a nice gaping hole in the front ;-)

Outstanding bike KTM - love this "Trophy Bike". The dirt orientation, compliant suspension, and ridiculous power reminds me of the Baja Trophy Trucks. The electronic aids are just incredible. At its weight desert whoops aren't going to be its forte, but it makes REALLY quick work of moderately rough dirt roads even with a punter like myself at the helm, and I can't imagine anything easier to steer with the rear tire - one of its strongest points. So smooth and easy to ride, fast. The local forests just got A LOT smaller.

Alright let's see the outtakes . That was some impressive skills on a massive pig of a bike . Love that launch right of the trail 10' off the ground into a perfect landing . Time for me too take an offroad training course with my trusty Tenere 700 . Imagine what Mad Mick would do on this bike , haha he'd destroy everything in his path !

how does the newer sar models compare to 2016 1190 r model? does the lower gas tank, lower cog really change handling?

@KTMARV 1 I love it down there. I've been through Hwy 20 etc.. a few times on my K1200GT. Would love to come down with the 990 or 701 when the border opens...
@KTMARV 1 The 1600 is the newest GT. They dropped the K1200 LT a few years ago.

I had a 1290SA...Great all round bike...needless to say I never bottomed out the suspension, I’m just not good enough
