My husband rented me a Tesla on Turo for my birthday, because I swore that I loved that car. I am so glad he did. It made me realize that I don’t want that car. It was very nice, but the way my lifestyle is set up…. It’s the antithesis to all that I am (procrastinator)
Hey I’m a current Tesla owner and this is hands down the best car I’ve ever owned. However I will say that after two weeks of supercharging my new car I realized that I needed a charger installed at my house. If you don’t have that option you may rethink buying a Tesla. It’s similar to having my own gas station at home. You charge overnight and it’s cheap! It’s not even that expensive to have it installed. It’s the best car ever and it’s connected to my WiFi- to enjoy the car you have to have a certain life that will accommodate it. Trust and believe tho it’s top tier but not for everybody
I agree, I ❤my Tesla but if I didn't have a home charger I wouldn't want this car. I wake up every morning, fully charged and ready to go for the day I have only used a supercharger when traveling out of town.
Ditto! Love my Tesla but when people ask me how I like it, I always tell them it isn’t for everyone. Your lifestyle def has to match and the charger at home is a MUST. Non-negotiable
I LOVE you! And I love my Tesla - going on 3 years of ownership. But I actually give friends & family interested similar advice. It’s a lifestyle change. I will say in Florida the chargers aren’t busy but good to know for other areas. Much love & prayers for California!
I am simple & minimal too right now. & my dad is a lefty so I understand, to an extent. Thank you for the kind words I live in Cali in the IE 30+ miles outside of LA but I have family & friends there & they are ok thank God, but I have been thinking about the after effects as well. It’s still not over. 🙏🏽❤
3:35 Also unless you have on a crossbody bag, put your bag on the floor. I had a friend whose purse was stolen off her front seat WHILE she was pumping. He broke her window, grabbed her purse.
I read a comment on here that said they don't buy anything new and I wanna say...#SAME!! I live in France and work night shifts a few days a month translating for the emergency services (112 here) and I CANNOT TELL YA the amount of calls we get from ppl at 3 am who went partying in St Tropez and are left stranded, DEMANDING to be escorted to the nearest charging station by the police because their "Teazzler" battery died on them. I shall be here driving my not so new car (always with at least a half tank of gas in it, ready to go) until we find a true and tested environment friendly solution :)
I no longer buy new and if it’s new it’s a lease. I see the tessys pulled over dead on the highway here all the time. It’ll say you have 30 miles available to drive but really it’s 10. The AZ heat does the batteries no justice.
During hurricane Irma, when musk announced he would extend the batteries to help Florida residents get to safer grounds. I started questioning how much control they had. will admit, Lucid Motors is pulling me back in, slowly.
@@brosiaaaTesla has a lot of control and is a data privacy concern. When the Tesla truck exploded in Las Vegas, Elon told the police where the truck had been, phone logs, and text messages of the connected phone.
I’m sooo tempted to cut my hair but everyone is telling me not to because of how much I like to switch up my hair. I’m listening because it’s true lol but I’m seeing so many ladies slay the heck out of their hair cuts! ❤
Exactly! It just doesn’t allow a peace of mind especially in the case of an emergency. My final straw was when I went one evening and fully charged my car. Only to get in the car the following morning to a nearly dead battery. And this was a brand new battery. DONE DONE DONE
Girlllll!!! How the heck do you get out of a Tesla after just buying it?!? I thought once you buy a car, there’s no grace period. You’re just stuck with it unless you sell it to someone else. They should really allow a 7-day trial period 😫
I did not know this…. I’m learning more & more about that car that I never wanted…At first I did & then I remembered I don’t like new, new anything no matter how good it looks. I need reviews first…Bad & Good 😂😂
I feel like unless you’re able to have a charging port in your own garage or at your own residence, I don’t see the benefit of having a Tesla [under the guise of the “it eliminates the hassle of getting gas” argument]. The charging stations in the Target parking lots and sh*t be INSAAANE!
When we had these hurricanes this summer here in Houston, we weren’t able to get gas. The gas stations were out the line. Luckily we have both an electric and a gas car and I don’t have to tell you that car was great cause I was able to drive by everybody go Zoom Zoom hi. I charged up before the electricity went out and we also have a back up system with solar. I always have power. I think if you have the money having both Works because there are disadvantages advantages of both. But the base it often is having a fire, not having an electric car what is the chance that the fire is gonna happen where you live versus what are the chances that a hurricane tornado in those other natural disasters will happen where you live. No gas stations are wrapped around a corner. gas stations run out of gas like they did here in Houston this past summerthat’ll be when you wish you had the electric. I was able to drive all the way down into Houston to parts that the stores were still functioning to get food for my family. Something that no one in my area to do because the lights were out for week and a half.
Here's what I've observed about people. most people want to be like everyone else, trendy and keep up with the Joneses, that's why they want a Tesla. I don't buy new things just because its trendy and because other people have it, I wait to see if its something I really NEED and if it serves a specific purpose. If I need it, I wait for awhile for unbiased reviews to come out about the product and get the following generation, I don't upgrade everytime something new comes out either. My take is most people that have Tesla are stuck and have to deal with it at this point. Musk has proven to be the real life Svegnali, like most oligarchs, he fooled most folks. I'm in Northern Cali, with the Santa Ana winds, global warming, increased homelessness, they all increase the likelihood of a fire, my heart goes out to all the innocent people affected.
Tesla’s are overrated. They don’t perform well in colder climates. Had a polar vortex a few years back and Tesla’s were just dead robots strewn about. Also, they aren’t “clean”. The pollution created to mine minerals for those batteries, which we still don’t know how they’re disposed at the end of life, is no better than a combustion engine. Also not supporting racist elongated muskrat. Brosia, is correct about them being able to control how you move about in those cars as well as collecting more data about you.
@ thanks boo. I love this straight natural movement for the busy girlies I’ve been seeing. I’m going straight but love my natural hair so I won’t be relaxing. It’s wigs for now as I grow out my bob. I’m so excited.
@fuzzyspirals Wait, I thought she was a straight natural. I just cane across a short from 11 months ago where she relaxed. I don't know how I managed to miss that! Wearing your natural hair straight is a great option. Wigs will definitely help with growing your hair out.
@ I know she did when it short and baby girl was a baby. I don’t know if she grew it out and natural now or still relaxed. Either way her hair looks amazing. I’m finding my straight hair natural tribe.
It doesn’t make much sense to buy an electric car unless you have dependable access to a charger. In an emergency situation, especially if there’s heavy traffic, I’d choose most EVs over any non-hybrid ICE car. Not an EV stan, just my experience commuting in both.
Great video thanks for sharing, peace and happiness to u and ur little 1. Bit that clip for the young lady, is so misleading. Having a EV isn’t that much different, then drive an ice vehicle. Yeah there may b a little time difference on charging, then pumping gas. But that’s pretty much it, because if the electricity goes out. Not only EV would have a problem, ice vehicles will also. No electricity. Means u can’t pump gas, one thing that’s she’s right on is, always stay ready, keep ur EV and Ice vehicles gas up, and fully charged. ✊🏿
Thanks for commenting. I understand exactly what you’re saying. I believe I had a not so great experience due to the extreme heat in Arizona it was no good on the battery. I think those in not so extreme temps tend to have a better experience
@ I’m not a Tesla fan, but I wish u had a better experience with ur EV. But I do understand where ur coming from, because it’s ur personal experience. I’m in riverside California, and the warm weather is pretty good for EV range. I personally drive a Mach-e, don’t think 🤔 I can ever go back to gas. Appreciate u sharing, keep doing u, peace and blessings ✊🏿.
My prayers are with all of you in California
I love a bob! Something so classic about it
My prayers are with California. 🙏🏾❤
Thank you…I appreciate it. ❤

Thank god for the hubby, he saved you girl! 😅 I’d say it really is an excellent car to rent and experience for a week

Lefties STAND UP! I knew you were my girl!!❤
Yes! Commonalities
Wow, this vid reminds me of the old days car chronicles!
Classic vibes 🤍

Oh wow! I was going to FYI that my car was locked but sheeeesh breaking the glass. People are so crazy!
Definitely do your research when getting an EV. It’s not for the weak. Lifestyle change for real.
Be safe 🙏🏾
Loving the hair!!!...those fires are crazy!!...and the water situation has my mind blown...prayers for Cali
LOVE HUNNY ❤
Your hair looks so good!🫶🏾
Thank you so much! ☺️
6:52 your cat is lovely 😊

I love being a lefty. :D
Is there a Sam’s Club or Costco near you. I love that they are always busy so you don’t have feel so on guard when you are pumping.
Hey Brosia! Love your videos! Would love to know what camera you use for your videos?! It looks sooo crisp 😍
During hurricane Irma, when musk announced he would extend the batteries to help Florida residents get to safer grounds. I started questioning how much control they had. will admit, Lucid Motors is pulling me back in, slowly.
Now that is interesting! 🧐
@@brosiaaaTesla has a lot of control and is a data privacy concern. When the Tesla truck exploded in Las Vegas, Elon told the police where the truck had been, phone logs, and text messages of the connected phone.
Love the hair, can we see a middle part, please. Prayers for Cali.
You can say that about any new car. They are all basically computers but one uses gas.
Oh snap I'm a lefty too lol❤️🙏🏾
Do you line you crotchet hats wirh satin?
I was thinking this. It’d be perfect
Would love to see crochet tutorials. I don’t need another hobby, but I do enjoy watching the process 🧶🧶
I love my Tesla and not going back 😊
Besides the awful issues at the Superchargers, what other things do you think made you hate Tesla?
I’m sooo tempted to cut my hair but everyone is telling me not to because of how much I like to switch up my hair. I’m listening because it’s true lol but I’m seeing so many ladies slay the heck out of their hair cuts! ❤
Those of you considering an electric vehicle may want to consider getting an EV charger installed in your home.
I was looking at the BMW iI but then I thought about it, what if it’s an emergency and just my luck, the car would be dying 😩.
Exactly! It just doesn’t allow a peace of mind especially in the case of an emergency. My final straw was when I went one evening and fully charged my car. Only to get in the car the following morning to a nearly dead battery. And this was a brand new battery. DONE DONE DONE
I never understood the fascination of an adult power wheel. 😂
It’s a fun thought 😂
