My method is using the period panties. I wish they’d created these so long ago. But they’re so comfortable, especially for sleeping at night. No spillage whatsoever. During the day I use a pad. I might have to rethink the panties because I didn’t know some might cause cancer!! Just when I thought we were good.
I totally get your concern about the potential risks. It’s frustrating when we find something that works so well, only to discover there might be downsides. 😔 The key is researching brands that prioritize safe and sustainable materials. There are definitely some great options out there with certifications to ensure they’re non-toxic and safe for long-term use. Thank you for sharing your experience-it’s always helpful to hear what works for others! 💕
Thank you for this and getting Tmi🙏🏿 I mainly use Honeypot pads and L pads and have been trying out the hanes period panties but have still worn a liner with them just in case. I'll look upmore about the period panties and see which one was recalled. I love that your daughter heard you speaking about it💖
L pads is also a go to! I’m glad you appreciate the video. Those period panties take some getting use to, our brains tell us OH NO THERE IS GOING TO BE 🩸ON MY BOTTOM 😩 I never quite got to the point of fully trusting them. I mostly used them as an additional barrier for when I use a menstrual cup or tampon
That was me😩 I had bladder incontinence after having my daughter. I was trying to tell my doctor that something was wrong because I was in pain for 8 weeks after birth (that’s why I don’t do doctors 😂) anyway I had a natural birth too and I did Pilates to build my pelvic floor. It was so bad I couldn’t even use tampons because I couldn’t ….well my body couldn’t keep them up. Now I use tampons but I change so often because I’m a weirdo and don’t want anything bad to happen. I use to use the diva cup but after having my daughter I’m done with the cups lol I’m not on birth control either I just use the oura ring with the natural cycles app and I’m only on for 4 days with no symptoms at all. lol life it great.
We have so much in common! Pilates helped me too-I had diastasis recti with about a three-finger gap between my abs. It was so painful that when I lay down, I could barely lift my legs off the ground. And yes, I’m the same way about changing tampons-I’m super cautious because of TSS. I’m so glad things have gotten better for you! Whew, the things women go through with our bodies-it’s truly incredible how much we endure.
This is timely after watching a video about a lawsuit on Carefree pantyliners (my go-to), and I'm also a tampon girl. Video has made me think a lot so I have to research organic options. I am not a pad girl AT ALL.
I don’t use carefree but I’ll have to find that video for knowledge purposes. The beautiful thing, we have so many options! You’ll find a replacement in no time
Thank you for this information, I appreciate you. Tampons are painful unless it’s all I have, I just use pads. & I always have my “tin foil hat” ready…😂 P.s. - You are an amazing Mom…🥰♥️

I use flex menstrual discs along with Pads as a backup. Was a long time tampon girly until I fell in love with the discs.
I have never tried the disc, I’ll have to give them a try!
Good video girl !!!
