I have watched your videos since before you had kids and lived in that apartment with the brick wallpaper that you put up. I am much older than you and I think you are absolutely amazing. I love your calm spirit, and I love how you choose yourself. I'm not sure what happened with you and Rob but I always admired how you took control of your own life, left your job, got your finances in order and bought your own home. You are a great role model for the young women today and I am so proud of you. And I'm glad you're making videos again because the 5 minutes with Brosia was not enough for me. Keep going and keep choosing yourself and your peace because there is nothing wrong with that.

I am at home with them and I love that for me bc I don’t trust anyone other than the great aunts and grands watching them. But ya girl is over stimulated 😂 I wear a weight vest around the house to ground me and other mindfulness activities I brought along with me prior to kids.

I have always found you to be so relatable. Also happy to hear that you are getting a moment to breathe again. From now on, I will resort to braiding without adding any kanekelon hair at all or resort to other natural hairstyles altogether...

So, I just finished listening to your dating bit. What you have is peace and you don’t want to deal with anyone’s crap. Women are so pressured or side-eyed when they are not dating or married to someone, and there are a lot of unhappy women out there that are struggling in their relationships but are willing to put up with nonsense just to say they have someone. There are some women I know that are genuinely happy, but so many have told me if they knew back then what they know now, they would just stay single. Based on what I’ve seen, men definitely seem to benefit more out of relationships than women. I am single, and I ultimately would like a companion, but sometimes when I think about it, I don’t want to be bothered. And, the more peace you have and the more stable you are, you cringe at the thought of being in a relationship with someone who isn’t there yet, and then they’re more of a burden than a blessing. I understand your perspective completely.
@ agreed! I did the Lemonade braids and that didn’t last for a day! The itch and burn was so bad 😭 I am getting ready to do braids again, I may give it a try not to soak to see if this helps. It would be nice to skip that step for sure. You did an awesome job with the refresh! I also agree with you in Shein. I have found some nice pieces for the affordable price and good quality 😄

Yessssss soaking is a must 😭 but I have seen hair in the beauty supply that says pre soaked. I haven’t tried it yet. Love your video😊

My braided does not soak the hair and I don’t experience any itching from it. She’s been with me since 2019.
