What do aspects do
@@D-Dova Each elite type (except Voidtouched) have a 1/4000 chance when killed to drop their aspect. Picking up this aspect will place it in the player's equipment slot (though, it can not be activated) and supply the player with every ability the corresponding elite type has.
Blazing = Fire trail, burn on hit
Glacial = 80% slow on hit, frost explosion on death
Overloading = Delayed 50% bonus damage on hit, 50% of health is converted to shields
Celestine = 80% slow on hit, all nearby allies become invisible
Malachite = Disables healing on hit, periodically releases spike bombs which damage and disable healing, and spawn a Malachite Urchin on death
Perfected = Shatter (reduced armor and speed) on hit, all health (except 1) is converted to shields.
Mending = Heals nearby allies, spawns a healing "bomb" on death

@@D-Dova a lot of people don't take them for that reason! people normally would rather take a normal equipment as opposed to an aspect. those who do take them take them often do it because they're interesting, fun, and quite rare to come across

the ultimate challenge run would be getting every aspect
WITHOUT CLOVERS
I've always preferred the normal punch to thunderpunch, tbh. The added flexibility you get from being able to choose when to go is super good, along with the higher uppder damage limit and the sheer mobility it provides Loader with no items is too good to me

idk why people think fire aspect is a proc item, it deals 50% total damage so it really doesnt matter what character you get it on. does the same damage as an overloading orb in the end
Duration of burn is affected by the proc coefficient of the thing that proc’d it btw

It’s so weird seeing someone go 25 mins stage 3 when so many people tell you to go 5 minutes per stage
5 mins per stage is a myth, don’t rush your stages as long as you’re getting at least an item per minute
first game emphasizes on rushing (RORR likely will as well), second game emphasizes on 100%ing each stage

i got and aspect last night it was a silence between two strikes which is the lighting aspect and i unlocked the secondary style for bandit it was a broken run

I got an aspect 5 games in a row in public multiplayer and on the fifth I just left it cause it was a glacial aspect lol
I won eclipse 1 mult because I got an overloading aspect with retool and couldn't take damage
what are to two artifact-looking icons/what do they mean
Thunder Punch sucks cause you can't pierce enemies with the punch if you take it, the default one hits every subsequent enemy for full damage and proc chance
How did you loop at 12:08 when the teleporter was aligned with the moon?
year late comment, but race here is technically playing on monsoon w a modded artifact that adds all eclipse modifiers as well as the badge in the top right! playing in this way allows him to also add the artifact of the king for added difficulty as artifacts are not allowed in standard eclipse
How did you get so much speed at 1:40? I play loader and want to learn how to go crazy fast
Make sure you hit spring right after the grapple so you get more speed, the pylon momentum helps too :)

Just got Ror2 for PC. I’m pretty new to PC gaming in general and I wanted to ask about sprint keybinds, what do y’all use? Should I just keep using the base sprint toggle until I’m use to it, or is that something better?
It seems like Race uses M5 as sprint toggle, is that optimal? Certainly sounds easier to manage than trying to press with my pinkie.
I’d be interested in hearing y’all’s opinions, but I changed it to M5 and I think it’s gucci.

Aspects are not a modded part of the game. Elite enemies have a low chance of dropping them which give you that particular elite's abilities

One makes a harder Mithrix fight, the other I dont know.
@@siegkami I think they probably meant the artifacts. I know Races uses the one called Artifact of the King which makes Mithrix tougher than usual. Not sure if there’s another one he uses!
@@cadethomas8036 In that case, one is Artifact of the King, which is a rework of the Mithrix fight, the other is Artifact of Primacy, which allows you to go to the moon at any point during a loop instead of having to do a full set of stages :)
