Hi John, I live in southern NSW so not much Jack action here but I got to fish the west coast of Cape York and had plenty of jacks as bi catch chasing barra. One of my most memorable experiences was punching a lure into a deep hole under a triangle of mangrove roots , the lure was in the hole and six inches above the water when a jack launched and hit it in mid air , quick response and thumb action and I pulled the fish out about two feet before it got back in the water and boated that jack . Blew my mind how aggressive they can be when they are fired up feeding. You are lucky to have the canals up your way to chase them , great vids mate and I enjoy watching you cut your teeth on the pelagics and jet ski . 👍
Why you prefer to just straight retrieve on lucky craft rather than twitch, twitch, and pause? What hook/split size would you change it to, without compromise the lure action?

I'd like you to try out storm's lures, I've had successful fishing with storm twitch stick & thundercrank, they both great lures for barras & jacks! Loved your video mate! Keep it up !
