I think along with him being more user friendly compared to 7 i also think the small tweaks they've made like removing knockdown on db 3,2 has made him alot more fun to me althougg ye some changes like df2 and wr2 were wierd but for the most part i think this is close to being one of the most fun versions of steve rn
Feng dropping off can basically be summarized by a combination ifpeople dropping him after the minor level damage nerfs, and characters like Jin and Bryan just doing his gameplan a lot more effective with better tools than Feng. Feng has to work a little harder now, but who cares cause Jin has objectively better tools and Bryan has objectively better damage. Who cares about character loyalty when you can just pick up Bryan or Jin and do more with less work?
First tekken ever, got it close to release and got drawn into the mishimas and their tech. Id say my main is reina, then kazuya and heihachi lol. But I been learning bryan recently and idk what im doing wrong but it doesn't feel easy to play at all 😭 but he's the most fun I've had with a non mishima ngl
It’s absolutely baffling how underused Shaheen is and why nobody is talking about him when he’s actually the 2nd best character in the game. He’s the only character behind Dragunov with the most top 8s since this game’s release. The fact that he has 2 guard breaks in heat that are guaranteed if he lands a heat engager is absolutely ridiculous. Soon as he lands a heat engager, he’s erasing 80% of your health bar in under 10 seconds. If anyone needs to be nerfed immediately, it’s definitely Shaheen

But the fact that he’s still one of the least used characters despite how insanely overpowered he is just blows my mind to no end
The problem with Shaheen is the community has the consensus that he's boring and to play him your neutral needs to be good, even though he has bs like Law's slide, so his popularity is low meaning nerfs won't happen anytime soon.

Jin is the main character so even casuals are more likely to pick him up and go mash in Ranked. Steve is an OG, older Tekken 4 character and boxing is very popular in fighting games
people say shaheen is easy but he’s a stance character and his max damage combos are not easy his while standing 3 loops are some of the hardest combos in the game

Just ranked to TK King last night , I play yoshi .. I feel like he gets a lot of hater because he is simply misunderstood, Yoshi demands your attention and sharp wits to overcome your opponent, love the guy but he is nothing but work so I mean it’s really up 2 u but yoshi is my guy !🫡
