I like some of the pre-LCI body elements over the LCI changes. The hood-to-kidney interface looks better with the hood humps around the grill but the bumper is sharper / more timeless in pre-LCI design with those center cuts. The taillights are not a strong enough effect to warrant changing. The larger design of the pre-LCI is actually stands out more and blends with the balance in the body size of the vehicle. LCI or pre, these designs are quite timeless and elegant.
The E90 sedan facelift was actually pretty extensive. The jump from CCC to CIC iDrive was pretty massive, they also widened the track and touched quite a lot on the outside. The inside stayed pretty much the same, if you exclude the Infotainment.
Duncan Idaho The M sport with blackline taillights was alright, the rest of the range looked pretty bad. The LCI was such a step forward in my opinion.
You can get an lci e90 with the n54 engine for years 2009 and 2010. It wasn’t until 2011 that they switched to the n55 engine. Lci n54’s are kind of hard to find though.
Tell me abt it I don’t see any lci e90's with the n54 I got a steal on one for 6500 with 115k on it all stock bought it from the first owner that paid around 60k for it when they came out
@@johnlonghorn5856 I was able to get one too after months of looking and waiting but I had to go through a one of those small dealerships. Xdrive, Dark grey, 80k miles for 9500. Not the best deal but I’m happy. She’s stage 2 on e30, awd delete and kicks like a mule.
@homerthompson6028 Lol what you guys in the US got it good. I'm Canada especially my province that same spec will sell for 20k Canadian . Such a fucking scam
I'm literally looking at a 2011 e92, with 191,000k KM.. the guy is asking 12.5k CAD. Not even m sport or nothing. Not even mint interior, has scratches here and there... it's a 328i as well, no maintenance records from previous owners
I know I’m like 3 years late to post this comment lol, but the only LCI version of the e90 to have the N55 is the 2011 version. The facelift came in 2009 and the 2009-2010 335i came LCI with N54. What DID change is that some N54s that were built just before it was switched to N55 included an oil cooler, while almost none of the early versions have one
Try some Mothers Aluminum & chrome polish on those headlights. Buff on then off. Clearing them up nicely. Takes 2-3 minutes and lasts 4-6 months. Forget sanding
I ended up doing it with a Mother's headlight restore kit that used sand paper/drill attachment to polish. It cam out very nice. Got rid of the car shortly after that unfortunately, too many gremlins
I don't have the car anymore so I can't make another video on it, but yes the inside is virtually identical. Only thing they changed for LCI was the newer iDrive system, and a few trim pieces were different I believe. Other than that, inside is nearly identical.
Nah the pre lci still has led bars for the iconic BMW taillights. But it has bulbs for brake lights and turn signals. Where as the face lift has everything LED.

Yeah same thing on my 330d e90 sedan
Yes because the pre lci e90 looked very bad. Rear and front

@@zureai The used car market here in the US is pretty bad too. I was able to get mine right before used cars prices got ridiculous.

I love my e90 pre lci but the only thing k hate is the orange reflectors on the headlights
Someone put a pre lci bumper on my lci now I can’t find a kidney grills for it

@@vb7200 i have some oxidation on the inside too
So can I do the face lift trunk on my 2006 e90 330i ?
The pre LCI exterior looks a million times better imo, much more harmounious design
i hope the rear bumper isnt shaped differently, i wanna order a bumper extension and the producer didnt know if it would fit a facelift model. 🧐
So can i fit lci front bumber splitter to my 07 year 320?
I don't see why not. They're the same dimensions, just shaped a little different.
If you go from a pre LCI front bumber to the LCI bumper you have to change the hood as well or at least modify the kidney grills.
@@thomasautengruber8369 do i need to change hedlight, are they coming with same dimensions?
Čajdin Kenan headlights are the same dimensions as far as I know..
Look at the channel „Justin Buice“, he did a partial lci conversion on his e90
pre-LCI is much more better overall
Pre lci look outdated and the hood and mirror is much worse
The lci still had the N54, I think the 2011 model had it maybe?
Are the doors, hinges exact same?
Will a pre lci taillight fit a 2011 lci e90?
is the inside the same lci and pre lci too?

can you do interior stuff too
Will the lci hood fit on a pre lci??? Please help
Yes
@@aaronmarekino7623 for sure?
Will the 2008 headlights fit 2010
yea they do surprisingly
It will.
fix headlight position
I’m glad I have a LCI

Pre LCI > LCI
The pre LCI starts to look dated compared to the LCI which might be mistaken for a F30 to the non car people
