I've never even caught the 65 ton weight-training in the X-Gym. Though judging from the animation, it's from Season 5 so that tracks lol.
Appreciated that you gave us possible theoretical weights of all the things we've seen her lift in this show such as tanks, buildings, and ships. Marvel likes to give us basic strength classes, but have the characters actually lift much heaver things in the show and other media haha.
I hope 97' gives us a chance to see Rogue use her absorption powers more offensively. It was always treated like a handicap in TAS, compared to X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men where she seemed more creative with it.
Yeah, I hate it when they essentially make her powers generic super strength and flight

Rogue didn't reach any limit in central park, because she WASN'T EVEN supposed to be IN that story. The original story was Colossus in that story, and he had been transformed into his human form by Phoenix.
For some reason (to make cash?), they replaced Colossus with rogue to update a story that didn't need it. Hopefully, fans interested in the epic story will read the actual Phoenix saga by Chris Clermont and John Byrne. It's is really great, and it's definitely less rushed and has more depth than the cartoon adaptations.

The question is wrong. You should have asked, "How powerful is Ms. Marvel?". Everything she's done and displayed that can be attributed to the word powerful is Ms. Marvel's. The flight, super strength, invulnerability and super speed are all Ms. Marvel's powers.
In the animated show no one really cares that Carol is trapped deep inside rogues mind. The one time Carol managed to break free Jean sealed her back in. Rogue gets the benefits of the powers and Carol is forgotten.
Nice video but only cannon to the animated series. Carol was not in the coma long (e.g. years) in the comic books.
It could still be accurate. Charles helped Carol in the comics, but not the show, so maybe she would have stayed comatose for years if not for the Professor's help?

Probably the movie version but not the comics since Thanos fought Cosmic Beings that has that ability.

Yes, and No. She could absorb everything the Hulk had, but she would lose all control, considering she is susceptible to the emotions that come with the powers she absorbs. She will find it too hard to handle, especially if it is the Hulk's emotions/trauma/anger etc. So, absorbing the Hulk completely would make her go completely insane. And would surely kill the Hulk in the process, not cure him.
Why is she only mutant that couldn’t control her powers ?
She's not. Did you not see Cyclops in the same shows? Beast is stuck being blue. Why did you think this?
Later on the comics she can control her powers but there are plenty of mutants who can’t control their powers big example CYCLOPS
@@Trippyrockstarr The Reason Cyclops can't control his powers is because of a head injury. With Rogue, it's psychological.

Despite being strong and generally likeable X-Men character, Rogue in X-Men '97 has profoundly turned into a disloyal insufferable emotional wreck towards the end.
Thanks to the writers. She's doing things way out of character. I hope next season we get to see the real Rogue and Gambit's return.

Holding onto someone to the point that she maintains their powers indefinitely damages her psyche. She did it one time and without the strongest psychic in the world helping her get through it, Ms Marvel would’ve taken over her body or killed her.
The annoying thing about this video is the use of pounds and kilograms instead of TONS as a measurement of her strength. Ain't nobody got time to convert that, pal!
