That first dress is so cute, I love it! It looks really good on you. I also really liked the last one, but I don't think it's really your style. I hope you kept the first one!
I have 2 dresses from lace made and I love them!! It really just depends on what you’re going for I guess! I also saw and did research on the ones I was getting too with others wearing them.
Delayed Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Lucy! Hope you don't die of the heat. Haha. These dresses are so cute, and I've also been tempted but unsure. Hah.
I bought a few pieces from Lacemade and so far I loved everything. I just bought a corset from a few days ago and I have never worn a corset before, so I am excited to try it.
I bought one of their dresses on Tiktok and got a super good deal, they do live streams with specific pieces of theirs and i got like 40% off plus a first time purchase deal 😂 Was a beautiful dress I got to wear to medieval times for my birthday!
I find them all really cute! I actually liked the second one but it's sad that it didn't fit you well. I suppose because you are rather fair the little blue detail on the first dress really makes distinction of the dress and your skin to really flatters you
Lacemade customer service is terrible and they’ll insult you if you ask for help it’s ridiculous. I was accused of threatening them bc they refused to give me a return label and I told I had to dispute if they don’t 💀
The dresses are gorgeous, but I also definitely watched a direct to VHS (because I'm old) Disney sequel more than the original too. 😂 Mine was Aladdin 2 : The Return of Jafar. The songs are just so much better!!
I always find your reviews super helpful 💜. I'm interested in lacemade and have been particularly eyeing the second set. However, I had a slight suspicion that the cups would be too small for my chest and your review confirms that 😂 (we have similar body types). I really hope you kept the first dress though. It looks stunning on you!
So i agree that the second top is spooky for your chest, but idk it reminds me of a style that would have like a peasant top with puffy sleeves under it. Same thing with the skirt, especially when you tie it up, it looks like it needs a crinoline or those puffy underskirts that lolita wear.
I prefer Lacemade over House of CB because I hate slit skirts (on me; I do not care if other people wear them) and I like tea-length/midi/maxi. I do have the Princess Cynthia skirt and the lavender Regency dress but I am the sort of person who actually wears stuff like that (I also wear lolita fashion/mori-kei). I do wear Curve and Plus. However...the 4XL on Lacemade is not a normal US/UK/AUS plus size. I'm US 16-18 / UK 20-22 (sadly I don't know AUS sizes) and I wear Lacemade 4XL. I hope they expand their size range soon to cover people who are actually fat. (Not that I'm not fat, but I'm not *very* fat.) I also sometimes wear Liz Lisa! The trick if you are larger than their target audience (and who's not) is the oversized sweater dresses, which look good on anyone and often go up to 120 cm or more in the bust.
I loved the first dress. Hope you kept it, even with the shoulder issue. Maybe try to accessorize it into a more holiday moment with a blue velvet headband maybe with a sprig of holly attached along with small blue "bauble"-type earrings? Too bad about the 2nd dress. If the cup size looks like an XS or S on a medium size garment, I would be afraid to try this company especially with their less than friendly and sort of costly return policy. The black dress was pretty, but at least on my monitor did not look as special or fantastical as the site's vibe implicitly promises.
First dress was the only one I really liked on you since it fitted so well. The second dress seems more well suited for someone flat chested. The third dress, I think the issue is that the white part is blending too much with your pale neckline area. The model in the photos had a tan, which is probably why this detail worked for her, but not you 😅 it'd have also looked better if it cinched at your waist a bit more.
Just so everyone know this company is incredibly rude towards its customers base and if you need to return anything/receive any damaged goods you need to call your bank to dispute because they won’t refund even if you ship it back. One time they mass sent a email calling everyone malicious for using multiple coupons when they were the ones giving coupons away and didn’t tell us we couldn’t do that
@ This is the email they sent to everyone even though they never said we couldn’t ask our family to spin the wheel to give us coupons or share coupons. They never apologized for this presumptions email. Dear customer, We have inquired that you have drawn discounts multiple times through different emails. LaceMade does not support you using opportunistic methods to purchase. This is a very malicious behavior. Once discovered, we will blacklist your account.
@ This is their response after I asked multiple times if they can send me a return label and telling them if they won’t help me I have to go to my bank because I don’t want a damaged dress. Dear customer, If you don't follow our solutions, how can we solve your problem? Are you contacting us just to threaten us?
I absolutely love the black dress, not a fan of the other two to be honest, they look too childish and costumey in my opinion, but the black one is chef's kiss!
Oof with the customer service and returns 💀 But yes the first dress fit you so well, the convertable skirt element is very cool, and I don't think it would read too cutsey if styled a certain way. The black dress needed to cinch in more at the waist or have a more flared skirt to give the 50s silhouette, it was a bit straight up and down and flat in person: but overall the vibe and colour definitely works for you, it'd be gorgeous as a special occasion outfit! 💕
I think at the time in my life where I cared more about price than quality I would have been drawn towards this brand, but now that I'm more thoughtful about what I add to my closet these seem like they would maybe miss the mark a little bit. I do think they're pretty though
Totally feel you - I prefer natural fibres! A lot of their lace dresses (like the second set) are made out of cotton. I do personally make some exceptions for occasionwear when it comes to synthetics but I do prefer for cotton/linen/silk to be used where possible 🫶
Lacemade sells original designs unlike Shein. My only issue is that most dresses are polyester, I wish they were natural fabric for the price they sell at
I have bought from this company for years. They have always been feminine, classy, dresses. Now they look like shein crossed with Brandy Melville. Trampy, short, and costumed. So sad what they have done with the clothes. Im pretty convinced they have been bought out
First dress ❤ Second dress, cute but poor fit 😢 Third dress, a great visual reminder of why you dont gravitate to black, something just feels off with it 🤔
That first dress is so cute, I love it! It looks really good on you. I also really liked the last one, but I don't think it's really your style. I hope you kept the first one!
Now I want to see a "styling outfits based on Infinity Nikki" video 😂😂😂
I just might need to learn how to sew to dress like Nikki
The black dress was stunning on you on camera. Definitely something to explore, you look great with that sort of statement style and colour.
LOVE the first dress, pleeeeaaase keep
I did! 💐
I loveeeee when you do these kinds of videos with the fancier dresses, Lucy. You looked beautiful in that first dress!
I have 2 dresses from lace made and I love them!! It really just depends on what you’re going for I guess! I also saw and did research on the ones I was getting too with others wearing them.
definitely love the infinity nikki mention!!!
I was in awe when you walked out in the first dress! It's so pretty on you!!
The white dress at 16:00 was soooo cute. I love that you can pull the bottom front up a bit. Very cute!
honestly the lacemade infinity nikki idea would slap so hard, not even just infinity nikki they could also do their other nikki ips as well
That niche Cinderella 2 reference. SAME. The prunes 😅😂
I do think the black dress looks stunning one you

These dresses look very beautiful. ❤
The first dress was certainly the best but I also liked the black one and would be more likely to wear that.
I bought one of their dresses on Tiktok and got a super good deal, they do live streams with specific pieces of theirs and i got like 40% off plus a first time purchase deal 😂
Was a beautiful dress I got to wear to medieval times for my birthday!
Infinity Nikki mentioned! literally playing as I watch ^^
we are infinity nikki 🫶✨️
I find them all really cute! I actually liked the second one but it's sad that it didn't fit you well. I suppose because you are rather fair the little blue detail on the first dress really makes distinction of the dress and your skin to really flatters you
A brand’s customer service is make or break for moi
Yeah it's definitely a major factor for me too 🥲 Will update if anything else odd happens 😅
Lacemade customer service is terrible and they’ll insult you if you ask for help it’s ridiculous. I was accused of threatening them bc they refused to give me a return label and I told I had to dispute if they don’t 💀

Thanks for doing this review, I've been so curious about this brand and almost pulled the trigger so many times, but I was skeptical.
Please don’t if anything goes wrong the brand won’t refund/replace the item even if it’s their fault. Many people had to deal with this problem
Hey i absolutely love the rabbit dress. Also do you play love nikki as well?
You sold me on the white skirt 😍
The red ballroom (2nd) dress is actually inspired from Anna Karina in Une Femme Est Une Femme

What are your measurements. I would like to buy the Peter Rabbit dress, but I don't know what size to get.

I love the black and you look stunning in it. It's a shame about the way the top fits because it was really cute too.
I absolutely love the black dress, not a fan of the other two to be honest, they look too childish and costumey in my opinion, but the black one is chef's kiss!
It will be really nice to pair with a necklace!
Oof with the customer service and returns 💀 But yes the first dress fit you so well, the convertable skirt element is very cool, and I don't think it would read too cutsey if styled a certain way. hey how tall are you? I want to order so bad but I'm 6ft tall..
I think the black one needs a petticoat
I love the white dress in the pictures but it almost looks too big on you?? I love the concept though and the first dress looked so good on you!!!
The black dress gives you such a beautifull figure, very slim and curved at all the right places
I love these dresses I just really want to stay away from synthetics:(
Totally feel you - I prefer natural fibres! A lot of their lace dresses (like the second set) are made out of cotton. I do personally make some exceptions for occasionwear when it comes to synthetics but I do prefer for cotton/linen/silk to be used where possible 🫶
@@LucyLivinYT with the price point as well I'd expect mostly cotton/organic materials but I get it sometimes things are too cute to not get
The first dress is really cute on. The other two I didn't like.
#1 love it
#2 no
#3 no
Just checked their site they give me “SHEIN but corsets” vibes …
How?😂 i don’t see anything that is the same between the two
I’ve ordered from them, they’re corsets are genuinely pretty nice. Not at all like shien
Most likely other way around. SHIEN is the ones that steals designs and make it cheap with no corsets
STRONGLY DISAGREE

First dress ❤
Second dress, cute but poor fit 😢
Third dress, a great visual reminder of why you dont gravitate to black, something just feels off with it 🤔
Lab grown diamonds are pretty horrendous for the environment!
And so are natural diamonds !
