    *Using a rock and draw* the ladder on the concrete floor is an option outdoors.
    (A tape is also another option)

    Shane - thanks for the great posts. Love these short, focused workout idea videos. Just like the previous medicine ball video, this one will be a great add-on to my routine. I live in the sticks, so I don't have a gym or coach - but man, I wish I could train under you for a year. To all those out there lucky enough to have a proper gym and coach - be sure to thank them for all the time and effort they put into our great sport.

    Hey Shane I have a question.
    I'm a 21 year old guy who's never stepped foot in an Mma or boxing gym but that's all about to change next week , I'm a little worried about loosing a tooth or getting a cauliflower ear in sparring or Bjj so if you have any advice on how to avoid or prevent this please make a video about it or reply , thanks

      X8Seven
      Yh I figured that bro lol but what about grappling or Bjj

    • @X8Seven
      @X8Seven 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      as i said, use headgear. there are multiple choices for grappling headgear.

    • @honeyandlavender_
      @honeyandlavender_ 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Just wear a good mouthguard. And for the cauliflower, you're gonna have it at some point. You won't be fighting with headgear your whole life & I don't think you can use it in BJJ. Don't be afraid of having it, see it as a symbol of hard work and if you still don't like it, you can just take care of it; it's not a permanent thing.
      Best of luck 👊🏻 I'm also 20 & I'll be trying out Muay Thai & than maybe move up to MMA.

    Hey shane, first off thank you for another awesome video !. I would like to ask if you could make a video about "sore"feet. My fighting style is based on a lot of footwork and i get cuts and wounds just by doing a lot of footwork in the drilling-sessions and sparring ( i train at least 6 times a week for 1-1,5 hours on the mats (kickboxing) + running and stuff). Since it is hard to put vaseline or anything like that on your feet to prevent these kinds of things, i was wondering if you might have an idea how to deal with this.

    • @thunderaar
      @thunderaar 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Get some compression sock sleeves off amazon. You can wear them when your feet are sore to allow them to recover whilst you train.

  • @gingercore69
    @gingercore69 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I practice something similar to the third one, but a bit different, step once ack, once to the front, and pivot without looking the other way arround, just to change guard, and repeat... Then the same backwards, then step 2 in the same direction and pivot to the oposite direction(both foward and backward) and then 2 steps + pivit in the same direction... I can "outrun" most people in a fighting stance, if i have enough room to move arround ive only found one guy who can catch me... The problem is, i need to learn how to dodge when i dont have that much space, thats why ill start boxing soon...

    • @jamesmiles5662
      @jamesmiles5662 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Follow the howl point pretty obvious mate ??,don’t do Mma unless you are well rounded been training in everything,yes judo good but then so is savate,karate,Muay Thai,boxing,jiu jitsu,wrestling,sambo,so answer is everything going to help,

    • @jamesmiles5662
