I have a gtx 1050 ti and have for probably 6 years and its still good. Had the entire computer for 10 years. Been able to run games like elden ring and similarly big games pretty well. Dont even have to tank my settings or anything. Started with a different gpu, changed it twice. Same CPU all the way, i5-4600 i believe. 8 gb ram for the longest time, only just went to 16 lol. And 1tb hardrive. So in conclusion, yes 1050 ti still good yeah. Also i use a old monitor that doesn't even have hdmi or go abovr 60 hertz, vga only i use an adapter lol. Still good.
I put a small form factor one in an old Phenom 2 1100T with 32 GB ram & it blew me away last year how powerful it still is. Legendary card with driver updates in 2024.
I only stopped using my 1050ti in my main machine last year, it's now smashing it's second life in the media pc/cosy game rig that I built for the living room for everyone to use, still a solid card all these years later.
my humble 1080 was doing pretty okay before I sold it in 2022. The media and companies are trying to hype you into thinking you need all that power and yadda yadda.
I have been using a two fan MSI 1050ti for about 7 years, it handles just about every game I play, one of the games I recall having issues with in Monster Hunter World, I absolutely love this gpu and I might slap it into a small steam machine build for a TV. I'm upgrading soon to an Asus Strix 1080ti with 11gb Edit: I do play most of my games on low or medium, my gpu was paired with a Ryzen 5 2400G but last year I was gifted a R7 5800x which I have been undervolting. If anyone is thinking about getting this card for their budget build I recommend it as the more intensive games you can get better performance with FSR 2/3. But your choice will fluctuate on current prices Building Tips - Don't cheap out on the PSU - Check dimensions and compatibility - Try not to overspend on parts - You don't need a 3000$ machine to be happy
I still use a 1050ti today. Since I know.almost nothing about overclocking I went with a factory OC'd one, the Zotac 1050ti OC edition. It's prolly the highest factory overclocked 1050ti that I know of that doesn't require a six pin, and mine can go above rated boost and up to 1822MHz when on full load.
My brother is still using the 1060 i gave him, its doing fine with all the stuff he plays, I use a 5700 XY and have 0 plans to upgrade for a while. MY Cpu is a 12100f tho, so I'm looking get a better one as it gets pegged at 100% alot
running gtx 1650. 4 gb ddr5. with ryzen 7 3700x and 16gb 2666 mt/s ddr4, I can run games like ark ascended at 45-55 fps with some customizations, still better than series x and ps5
