- Like always, I traveled solo into the mountains of Sri Lanka on my Honda CD200 roadmaster. I traveled to the Southern side of Sri Lanka on my Suzuki Bandit 250, but this time I chose my Roadmaster as it's very fuel efficient and very torquey, this will help me in extremely steep mountain roads such as the World's End Road. You'll see that in the part II of this series.
Let's talk a bit about my motorcycle. The Honda CD200 roadmaster. A 43 year old bike, still in the original condition, running 6V platinum ignition system. Most people told me that 6V is trash and will not pull in mountains. And the bike will fail. I used to have 12V CDI on this bike and it was a mess.
Overall this bike is amazing ! A classic Japanese piece
The overall budget for this trip was around US$45 (LKR16,000). That was enough for gas, food, and accommodation. Since my bike did 32km/L. It only took about 13L-14L of gas for the whole trip. That's still really good even with the current prices. If I can camp, I can get that price even lower, but camping in Sri Lanka as a solo traveler is extremely dangerous. I don't recommend it.
As for my camera gear, I carry a GoPro hero 8, Nikon D3300 with 70-300mm + 35mm f1.8 and my phone. But unfortunately my drone was not available as DJI screwed me with an update, now my drone is a really expensive grey brick. I sent the drone back to Hong Kong and have to wait 4 months to get it back.

I really appreciate your support mate ! I have to apologize for the poor audio... I don't have a good mic for my GoPro. GoPro is basically taking the direct audio input from the front mic, I ordered a media mod for my gopro ...It's on its way, with that I can use an external mic inside my helmet....But thank you sooooo much for all the support.
