Great shooting! I have been looking at the NV008lrf and thought the 6.5x magnification might be too much for ratting, but it looks great on your video. One rat was ranged at just 7m!

Cheers ian👍 my zero range is 30 metres, not yards. My silencer is a cheap plastic one drilled out to avoid clipping. 30 metres is optimum for 177 because everything works out to the mill dots. Every 5m past zero is half mill dot on x13 mag. 40m on x6.5 is half mill dot, on x13 its 1 mill dot. I tend to use x6.5 so people watching the videos looks like I'm shooting straight at stuff up to 40m. Hope that makes sense and is of help. Strangely enough works out on a normal scope on x10 mag

Use HW silencer but makes everything long.

Can't believe it's been 10 months Garry, cracking nights shooting mate, I was wondering why that rat was moving up and down, bloody calf must think it's getting a massage, be glad when I get off these bloody crutches and get back out, looking forward to the next video
You missed a two for one shot and chose to shoot only the one. The pellet would have gone through both rats when the vermin set up behind the other on the ledge.

They are superb, 6.5 is not that much really. Yes 7m it will focus to around 3m but I was free handing it so couldn't hold the gun and focus
Another 008 user here, its fine for rats, you'll have no problem!

Honestly you are wasting your time zeroing close. Zero at 30m and it will be spot on between 13 to 35m. I never use hold under because its not needed
I'm guessing by the hold under you are using 22

I like to get there just as it gets dark. If you go too late they have probably already been out and fed
