Between him, Luke and malacia we may get through a single season without having to play right backs (that’s right, plural) at left back.
People forget that he scored in the final in 2020. As a united fan i can honestly say Luke has always been a big game player strong mentally and will offer alot in pressured situtations.
I think its because he plays alot of poker that mental aspect of it during 1v1s is so crucial hes going to do well for the remaining games.

We’ve massively missed having Shaw in the team. He’s the best LB in the world when he’s fit.
Best left back in the world is abit far there are plenty better than him that actually stay fit. He's massively valuable to England as they aren't blessed with great lbs and trippier has been dreadful playing there but if you consider all nations and lbs he's no way the best in the world.

Hope he plays. He will change our style moving forward and brjng balance and make us a threat down the left. We just need gareth to get palmer into the starting lineup and also get gordon in ahead of eze because he is a far better player. I also think england might be good moving to two up top. I think rice and bellingham can play in a two. Maybe you sacrifice foden and get Gordon and palmer or saka on wingers and play kane and toney or watkins. I think that will be a good way to start or move to later in the game if we are still unable to create chances. It will also help kane a lot becase he looks lost without wingera and other runners who can create space and link up with him. Right now we look solid and hard to beat which is good but we are not creative at all.

Its a very low bar to say Southgate has done incredibly well by taking England to semi finals and finals. Firstly, England has won nothing since 1966 at " HOME ", while smaller countries like Spain, Portugal, Holland, Greece have and Italy, France and Germany have won multiples in Europe Championship and World Cup.
