@@rioferdinandpresentsmaybe only Jude can make the team but it's too early to judge. The rest is not even on par with that Spanish side. (Xavi , Iniesta, Cerc, Busquets - Silva was on the bench)
1:58 - Is anyone besides the Spanish people been paying attention to Nico Williams?! The host dismissed Fabregas mention of him to talk again about Lamine Yamal and how's great at 16, bla, bla, bla. Meanwhile, Nico Williams has been breaking defenders and creating tons of chances. We should be talking about Nico Williams, more than Lamine Yamal! He and Ruiz have been the best Spanish players so far.
Horseshit. Lamal deserves the attention. He's 16, 5 years younger than Williams. We've rarely if ever seen something like him before. That's why people talk about him. We've seen plenty of Nico Williams
It's fine playing players slightly out of position, so long as they're still following a pattern of play that's similar to their club role, imo. As for reading the game, intelligent players, you can improve it slightly but, it's not really something you can teach imo and often a problem in the prem, selecting for physical ability rather than intelligent. The best players tend to have both, but you can't lack intelligence, to be the best of the best.
Bro is so right at 7'00. Put whoever you want on the pitch. Positioning doesn't matter. Put the right players with the best connections and with the intelligence to find each other, and you will score goals.
He is smart and ask good qurstions. Im sure he see nothing wrong about siting in shorts in studio with football legends. I guess he had divorced parents , rasied with mother without real male role model.
Mourinho was angry with Casillas for a reason...players like Xavi & Pique continually attacked Real Madrid in press conferences and they wanted real Madrid players to stay quiet. Xabi Alonso and others don't agree with that and they were destroyed by the Spanish biased media but Casillas bend the knee to Xavi for his own benefits cause he doesn't want to hurt his reputation defending Real Madrid as a Captain. All this happend in the NEGREIRA'S years, with Barcelona paying refs like Mourinho suspected and suggested many times... Thats why Mourinho, Xabi or Arbeloa are respected in Real Madrid but Casillas lost all his credibility from the fans or the club.
The comparison to the Spanish team is a mistake. That team controlled possession and was rock solid on defense (pique, Ramos, alba areola and then Sergio and xabi). England has a shakeu defense on one side and no defensive midfielder.
Here in Spain people don't want to recognize but that team used the possesion as defense, no risking any pass to avoid transitions...and yes they got the BEST defense with Puyol Ramos Piqué & Busquets in his prime
23:30 To all the Conor Gallagher fans, please listen to what Cesc said here, because this is one important aspect of a good midfield player that i believe Conor lacks
Disappointed that you guys went through 25 minutes without talking about the transfer saga, Spain players putting a Barca shirt on Fabregas and Fabregas not turning up to training to force a move to Barca.
If you actually know what tiki taka is, then you will you know your comment is massively inaccurate, pointlessly passing the ball is the absolute opposite to tiki taka 👍 🤦♂️
He was calling out the modern day average joe footballer who has 100% passing stats & sells for 100 million yet can't hit a game changing defence splitting pass for love nor money!
Lol, greatest in the Spanish sistem. But in the other sistem we never know. Spanish era is not about individual player but their sistem. Football have many good player in midfielder.
Felt like i was watching Arteta talk, Spaniards are absolute intelligent footballers...Players like Gallagher, Foden, Gerrard, Lampard might never have make it in the Spanish structure, i see why Ander Herrera in his prime couldn't really make it in the Spanish team...Micheal Carrick would have been a starter in a Squad ahead of Gerrard and Lampard if they were Spaniards
Fabregas was not pivotal for the trophies he won, I know he's on your show and you have to big him up but his minutes in that spain/barca do not suggest he was a key player.
I think Fabregas is wrong about Italy. The Italians approach to football is very robotic, it's top down heavy from very stubborn coaches like a Conte. I'd say it's not robotic but systematic primarily because they don't have wingers who are skilled and athletic enough to disturb the system & take on players. It is a cultural thing but it's also an absence of skilled wingers. Spain for once are willing to have wingers who are rapid & it's a shift from tiki taka which was also robotic. Spain owe this to Pep yet again. He's had Riyad, Raheem, Doku, Sane, Grealish who hug the touch line and drive inside. The principles are the slightly different but so is the personell. Italian soccer is extremely stubborn in inviting a new kind of player who might be wasteful but also penetrating.

One of my best ball players Francesc iSoler Fabregas🎉
Amazing how he communicates
Rio love hearing about Xavi and iniesta 🎉😂. Man could sit & listen anybody speak about Xavi and iniesta
Idol ❤
We can’t really compare iniesta, fabregas, David silva to the England players……
Who would you prefer - Kane, Saka, Foden, Jude?
@@rioferdinandpresentsIniesta, Fabregas and David Silva? How's this a debate. Look at the things they've won
@@sugamgautam4318 Bellingham is too young to judge in terms of trophies. He already has the German cup, La Liga and Champions League trophies.
My Favourite Player of All Time:
● Fabregas was 17 years old during virtually the entirety of his breakthrough season of 04/05 and made 33 league appearances (24 starts) in a side just off the back of winning the previous seasons league without losing a game, finished 2nd in that current campaign and won the FA Cup. Just let that sink in. Absolutely frightening 😲.
● Youngest Arsenal goalscorer:
(16 years 212 days v Wolves Dec 2003)
Youngest Arsenal goalscorer in League:
(17 years 113 days v Blackburn Aug 2004)
Youngest Arsenal goalscorer in Europe:
(17 years 217 days v Rosenborg Dec 2004)
● Only he and Evan Ferguson have 10+ goals/assists to their names as 18 year olds in the Premier League era who weren't from England. Had to get that one in as an Irishman 😄.
● Statistics show that in the five years prior to Fàbregas's departure from Arsenal, Fàbregas created 466 goal-scoring chances, made 86 assists and scored 48 goals, all three statistics topping those of new teammates Xavi and Andrés Iniesta, despite both having made more appearances in the same period.
● 09/10 League Season: Apps: 27
Goals: 15
Assists: 15
Who knows what numbers he would have finished with that season if he'd avoided a few niggling injuries during the first half of that campaign and not fractured his leg to Barca in March and been ruled out for the remainder of the season. I've no doubt that he would have comfortably broken the record of 20 assists in a PL season and, in all likelihood, would have 20+ League goals to his name alongside it. All from CM at 22 years of age in his second season as club captain as well, it's worth noting.
● All-time leader in history of assists for Spanish national team.
● Most assists as a CM in the 21st century ahead of the likes of Lampard, Gerrard, Iniesta & Xavi.
● Only he & Kevin De Bruyne have recorded 10+ assists in 6 separate seasons in PL era.
● 3rd All Time Leader in assists in PL history behind only Ryan Giggs & Kevin De Bruyne.
● Made captain of Arsenal at the tender age of 21 as well. He was absolute magic
Spain played and won big trophies with all their midfielders in the starting eleven, Xabi, Iniesta, Busquet, Fabregas, Alonso, David Silva
IMO only midfield duo which can be compared with Xavi and Iniesta is Kross and Modric.
7:09 he's talking about Rasmus Hojlund no service excuses lol
He needs to be on TV
Billion knowledge of football from fabregas😎
Fabregas one of the best assisters of all time
One of my favorite ballers. How did United not sign him in 2013?
It was dependent on him not starting the season for Barcelona, and he did so he didn't want to leave.
The next world best coach !!
Very special player
Bro is so right at 7'00. Put whoever you want on the pitch. Positioning doesn't matter. Put the right players with the best connections and with the intelligence to find each other, and you will score goals.
One of my all time favourite Arsenal players.. COYG!
My best player of all time
I had to listen to this but i couldn't watch it with Rio's bf sitting there legs crossed like a proper Fabian.
😂😂😂😂😂
He is smart and ask good qurstions. Im sure he see nothing wrong about siting in shorts in studio with football legends. I guess he had divorced parents , rasied with mother without real male role model.
Maino and Cole Palmer are gamechangers for England and Shouldve had more minutes in the group stages. Gareth has blood on his hands
Nice chat, wen Schmeichel?
When I was kid, Fabregas was my favourite player in the premier league not playing for Manchester united
Where did Roman buy this Emile Heskey shirt?
“You watch the game, you don’t see Busquets. You watch Busquets, you see the whole game.”
Looking at that table, which "Roman" was on the show?
The comparison to the Spanish team is a mistake. That team controlled possession and was rock solid on defense (pique, Ramos, alba areola and then Sergio and xabi). England has a shakeu defense on one side and no defensive midfielder.
Here in Spain people don't want to recognize but that team used the possesion as defense, no risking any pass to avoid transitions...and yes they got the BEST defense with Puyol Ramos Piqué & Busquets in his prime
This video gets a like Laudrupp Style, thanks fam
GREAT TO SEE CESC FABREGAS ONCE AGAIN.👌.
23:30 To all the Conor Gallagher fans, please listen to what Cesc said here, because this is one important aspect of a good midfield player that i believe Conor lacks
Disappointed that you guys went through 25 minutes without talking about the transfer saga, Spain players putting a Barca shirt on Fabregas and Fabregas not turning up to training to force a move to Barca.
please unsubscribe
Probably because they aren't catering to simpletons
@@guffins1 nah
Cry about it h baby he’s loved by his friends
It’s Barca 😂 yall can hate them all you want but everyone wishes to play for them
Agree on Cesc, stats are overly emphasized these days.
23:46 he basically talking shxt about “tika taka” which was about 70% pointless passes in the back.
Happy birthday 🐐
Bro next to Rio sitting like the fruitest man alive xD
Wow... I never met a footballer explain his job like this before...
I bet he loves rock n roll😂
Busquets is easily one of the greatest midfielders ever. Especially in no.6 position. Technique, skills, passing, positioning. Everything.
Lol, greatest in the Spanish sistem. But in the other sistem we never know. Spanish era is not about individual player but their sistem.
Football have many good player in midfielder.
If he has the emotional intelligence and management skills with his knowledge of the game he would be a fantastic coach/manager.
Mourinho was upset about Barcelona knowing his tactics ahead of the games. Why would he care about the World Cup, he wasn't part of them.
He is 100% right, midfielders nowadays are just so robotic, there have no more skills
That darts feature is the most pointless thing ever - must have been Rio's idea :D
People, like Rio in this case, need to stop asking questions like “So, Xavi, how good was he?”
They’re stupid questions.
Ahead? No. Either with or alongside,. never ahead. Don't mistake being similar stylistically with being anywhere near as good.
Fabregas a Chelsea legend or Arsenal?? Mentioned both Hazard & Costa in the first 10 mins 👀😂
Future Chelsea manager
Miss opportunity to ask him rio..😢
Should have ask him why throw the pizza ?why not shoess?😂
Arsenal need Cesc in their coaching roster asap
6:48 This sums up England perfectly and why their players in my opinion are overrated.
Phil Foden I hope you’re listening stop relying on Pep to tell you what to do and use your brain and figure it out yourself
I wish you could've asked him his beef with Frank before he joined Chelsea
Fabregas was not pivotal for the trophies he won, I know he's on your show and you have to big him up but his minutes in that spain/barca do not suggest he was a key player.
He was in Euro 2012, when Spain played with 5 or 6 midfielders
How i wish Rio Ferdinand knew his kenyan nickname back then
Why was fabregas looking dead the first minute of the vid 😂😂😂😂
He did arteta face
not enough... add 1 more hour please...
Did my guy just say la masla
Special baller
