Leslie Nielsen is back as Lt. Frank Drebin in the 1991 comedy, The Naked Gun 2 ½: The Smell of Fear.
And yes, the smell is me, I’ve been swimming in raw sewage. I LOVE IT!
Enjoy and thanks so much for watching!!

My favorite line, "The truth hurts, doesn't it, Hapsburgh. Sure, maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with the seat missing, but it hurts."
Best joke in the movie - “awfully big moustache”. ALWAYS gets me 😂😂😂
I’ve seen this movie more times than I care to count and this one STILL gets me every single time!
Nah that goes to the black Russian XD
"Is this some kind of bust."
"Well, it's very impressive. Yes."
STILL one of my absolute favorite innuendo lines EVER!
not as good as "nice beaver" but up there.
The entire sequence in the Blues Bar has more high quality jokes than 10 other comedy films put together.
Perfection.
“A white guy. With a mustache. About 6’3”
“Awfully big mustache.”
"Sex, Frank?"
"Uh, no. Not right now..."
😂😂😂💀
That was the best
"If they fell forward, they'd still be in the boat." HAHAHAHA Yessir. I'm a stealing that one. And then, "Poosy so good it gave him legs!" And good grief. I've got to say that, "Quivering mound of love pudding," is one of the greatest lines ever uttered in film.
I love it when yall do comedies. Both of you are fun to laugh with and you always make me laugh as much as the film does. I hope yall have a wonderful evening.
"Quivering mound of love pudding" still sounds better than anything from Fifty Shades of Gray.
@@ShawnRavenfire HA! Agreed.
How is he still alive after that. If looks could kill.....
@@DarthTach I noticed that too. I love these two. They remind me of my wife and me.
That actual reason is so the don't chat the oxygen tank on the side of the boat. Not funny, but somewhat interesting.
It's nearly 5am, I can't sleep, and I thought, "come on, *someone* must have something to watch". 7 minutes ago, jsr! Thank you both!
LMAO. It's 2 AM right now where I am. I saw this dropped 3 hours ago. I'm all in.
Watching this couple watches the movie is sure fun to watch!!
"To Serve Man" was a reference to a Twilight Zone episode.
The man holding cook book was Lloyd Bochner. He also starred the original Twilight Zone episode back in 1962 shouting the same line as he did in this movie " Its a cook Book ! " I stand corrected Lloyd did not say those words in the original episode it was his assistant that shouted out those famous words before he was taken by the aliens. Shoutout to Gerald Normandeau for catching my mistake a true twilight zone fan.
@@rccraig7580 He's the one saying the line, though.
Wasn't it also a short story? I recall reading it long before I ever saw the episode.
@@newfate26 Yes you are correct it was based on a short story written 1950 by Damen Wright.
They parodied that episode on one of the "Treehouse of Horror" specials from "The Simpsons"
I love the part where he says "implicating THAT man" and like 5 people stand up and take a hostage at gunpoint, lmao.
Great video!
The reaction you got from Emily about why do scuba divers fall backwards of the boat was just hilarious.
The 4-ft shootout is one of my favorite visual gags of all time. I've seen it (and the one from the series) so many times and yet it still makes me laugh.
It's great how you're trying to hold in your laughter when you know what's coming up so Emlily wont be spoiled... You know what is crazy. I've started stifling my laughter, too. I know a great bit is approaching, I see you holding back the giggles and I find myself doing the exact same thing... Anyone else? lol
Did anyone else gasp with delight when a new JSR vid showed up on their youtube? You guys make my day. Keep it up!
As the saying goes: I'm a simple man, I see a new JSR video in my notifications, I click on it. :)
@@weepingscorpion8739 Immediately! :D
Every time
Brilliant! I love this movie!
My favourite line:
"Do you know, that because of you the whole city is overrun by babonns?"
"Well, isn't that the fault of the voters?"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As usual great jobs guys. Emily's laugh is infectious.
When she mentioned Detroit and it came up on the bus, that was hilarious!
1st off: The way she predicted Detroit was hilarious
2nd: If your going down the road of classic comedies then you gotta watch Animal House
Don't forget Stripes, and Caddyshack
Yes, do Animal House!!
Please react to Haunted Honeymoon
Please watch the Pink Panther movie with Peter Seller
yes
Two callbacks from the TV series: the "Some kind of bust" gag and the up-close gunfight. Also loved to see Just Summ KITTY! 😺 Great job again!!
All of Emily's and Matthew's reactions were fantastic, but Matthew's joke and Emily's reaction to " love pudding " we're the best! 😁
The "Is this some kind of bust?" bit broke me in half the first time I saw it.
Matthew: The Titular Tiddie Tutor
You guys doing comedies is where it's at. All your reactions are enjoyable, but comedy is your forte.
Peace
I just love how Matthew braces for the incoming jokes.
Now you've got to track down Police Squad! The show from the early 80's these movies are based on. There were only 6 episodes, but Leslie Nielson was absolutely brilliant in every single one of them. Nobody watched it. I guess the world wasn't ready for them yet. They waited over 6 years to put out the first movie.
100% agree
Plenty of people watched it. It was cancelled because ABC executives were idiots who assumed their audience was too stupid to get the humor.
27:06 -- I believe that is the original bomb prop used in the movie "Goldfinger".
My favourite of the Naked Gun Series. Classic humour that always makes me laugh. 'Isn't that right Mr Pooby Pants?'
I saw this movie the weekend it came out. I remember it being a packed house. When they were panning through all the pictures at the bar and then they showed Michael Dukakis's picture. The entire place bursted out in laughter. The election for us at the time was only few years early (1988) and still fresh in our minds
Next nickname for Mathew; he's your "celluloid sommelier".
That Scuba joke - LMAO!
18:12 GOTEEM!!
in all seriousness i nearly choked every time she tried to take a sip mid-joke in the movie 😂
You for got the guy introducing the names to the complies at 3:50
The oil company: SPILL, the gas company: SMOKE and the nuclear company: KABOOM
That part is hilarious
The actor who played Dr. Mienhiemer also played Mr. Dursley in the Harry Potter films.
I came to mention that myself
Richard Griffiths was in a very good TV series called Pie In The Sky which also starred Marsha Thomason (in the fifth season) who played Sara Evers in The Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy.
@@slytheringingerwitch I just saw him as the King of England, in the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean film, too! Gotta watch that guy, he'll sneak up on ya!
He'll always be _Uncle Monty_ to me.
I was eating a melon while watching this and the scuba joke almost made me drown, lmao. I just wasn't expecting it!
The actress playing the commissioner was Jacqueline Brookes. She taught at the New York University drama department and I was a student. She was amazing! 🥰
I remember seeing this movie and Terminator 2 in the theater the same day.......it was a good day!
It’s so rare to see a real genuine spit take... and with Gatorade too
hahaha oh you really got her with the boat joke, you pull the uno reverse card, your dinamic is so fun, keep it up, she aint ready xD
Matt, that scuba diving joke had me laughing so much I had to pause the video.
Police squad is a good series.
Who are you?, and how did you get in here?
I'm a locksmith, and I'm a locksmith.
Angie Tribeca is a more modern version of this type of humor in a TV series.
Cigarettes? Yes, they are.
@@sophiamarchildon3998 sorry we're late ma'am, we would have been here sooner but your husband wasn't dead then.
The whole keycutters sequence is hysterical.
Surely you can’t be serious.
Dr Mineheimer aka Richard Griffiths lived next door to my mum when they were kids in Thornaby in North East England.
"Don't get up" I just wish someday a could say that to someone on a wheelchair... Ha ha haa!
I have...
Whenever I see the two of you reacting to a movie like this, it brings a huge smile to my face. What more could one ask?
Speaking of a great drum rimshot, beautiful joke about scuba diving. Genius. Lol
These movies are actually based on a show “Police Squad.” Lesle Nelson, some of the same characters and comedy. Y’all should check it out if you haven’t already
They only made 6 episodes, the network cancelled it because viewers had to pay too much attention to get the jokes.
The shoot-out bit in this movie was lifted almost straight from an episode of the series. Still works.
The diver joke got my subscription. The surprise appearance by the lion was one of my fave moments.
McLintock?! Talk about a "did not see that coming" moment... That opens up a whole new door of movies you may have not seen. There are so many, mostly unintentionally, comedic westerns from that era that you would love.
I love matthew’s face when he knows a great joke is coming. Great reaction video as always guys.
You 2 are so awesome!
Galaxy Quest should be on your list too!
Absolutely agree!
27:00 -- Not only was that THE book from the Twilight Zone episode, "To Serve Man"... That was also the actor who played the "hero"...
12:03 HAHAHAHAHA!!! Good call! You're reaction was adorable LOL!!
here's a spaghetti western series that will have y'all in stitches. "The Call Me Trinity" and "They Still Call Me Trinity". Bud Spencer and Terence Hill were comedic GOLD! in this series. they of course have more than just 2 movies, but these two are my personal favs. enjoy a 70's spaghetti night lol
"Watch Out, We're Mad!" is their best film, with the exception of westerns.
I also recommend "My Name is Nobody" with Terrence Hill as well.
@@alucard624 I love that one. Henry Fonda in it is a treat.
I didn't know those movies had a fanbase outside of Hungary. :)
@@Caprioly In Brazil Bud Spencer and Terence Hill are loved.
God I love to watch you two!! If the fell forward they still in the boat !! Oh god her look to that joke was priceless!! I’ll be laughing about that one for weeks
It was so funny that "To Serve Man" went straight past Emily.
And Lloyd Bochner was the actor in that "Twilight Zone" episode, too!
Anybody else love picking up the new items behind them in videos...the groundhogs and the burger phone she wanted from other videos lol. he he Tiddies. Keep the awesome reactions coming. lol
This has always been my favorite out of the series 😂 so many great jokes
Guys, once again you prove beyond doubt that you're the best reactors on TH-cam. Kudos and keep on up the good work...🥰🥰🥰
ROFL! She hasn't learned not to drink during these? XD
The reason that ZAZ were able to get away with recycling so many jokes from 'Police Squad' was that it was canceled after only six episodes and the series hadn't been syndicated or released on VHS/DVD when the movies came out. I remember watching the movies and thinking to myself, 'That's from this episode. That's from that episode.' Doesn't take away the enjoyment of the movies, it's just that if Emily goes back and watches the TV series, the jokes might not land as hard as they would if she had seen the series first.
The three-foot shootout and "Is this some kind of bust?" were originally in the Police Squad TV show.
The reason they gave that actor, Lloyd Bochner, the "It's a cook book" line is that he was the one who starred in the Twilight Zone episode. Btw, he was the father of Ellis, the douchebag in Die Hard (Hart Bochner).
Cinema’s all time greatest douchebag. (He raised his son well.)
I'm surprised y'all haven't dived into "Airplane 2: The Sequel" yet.
Yeah. She's a Shatner fan.
I love your sweet gorgeous cat. What a cutie he is. Nice reaction too! 👍😺
That police tank reminds me: Y'all aught to watch Dragnet with Tom Hanks & Dan Akroyd.
Friend of mine is in that. I love early Hanks flicks. The Man With One Red Shoe is a fav.
@@tempsitch5632 Definitely agreed. & I was just thinking how much they'd enjoy The Money Pit.
I love the scuba diver joke so funny
Hapsberg falling out of the window is still one of my favorite comedy movie moments ever
The dinner scene at the beginning of the movie is one of the funniest intros ever
Matthew, that scuba diving joke caught me off guard. Well done, sir! 🤣
Omg Matt your shirt is LEGENDARY!!! I'll be looking for one to order after I'm done watching. 😂😁😍
The " To Serve Man " book joke, is a reference to one of the most famous episodes of the original Twilight Zone tv show!
And it stars Richard Kiel, best known as Jaws from the James Bond movies.
Pippin!! Also, im very proud of the major dad joke Matthew🤣🤣
Aw having naked gun 2 on today's playlist feels like Christmas to me ❤️ probably the first insanely funny film I ever saw, saw this before the first one all those years ago.
I've watched this reaction many times and I still die everytime the still in the boat joke and reaction happens
Loved your scuba diving joke.❤️😂😂😂
I love the burger in the background on the shelf. 🍔🤣
You guys are awesome. Thanks for letting us relive classic movies in a laid-back atmosphere.
7:23 "You don't talk about Robert that way."
"Who dat?"
"Good Lord!" XD
I love these guys. Her laugh is infectious. Makes me smile. Infectious is probably the wrong word to use in these times, but you know what I mean.
22:22 Strangle....cuts.....impact....forward ? lol. 100% pure audiovisual joke. Just legendary
Ok, seriously you 2, we need at least one extra video from you each week!!! Love the channel
Robert Goulet doing a great Will Ferrell impression in this movie.
Yeah, I gotcha! Lol
@@joshmackaben4537 Thank you.
Her commentary is legendary!! But on this one this one that scuba joke was freakin amazing 😂😂🤣
Out of all the reactions i watch from the various people who present reaction vids...You guys are the Best..Keep it up...Looking forward to watching more of your vids...
The joke about diving out of the boat, one of the best “dad” jokes ever! Stealing that one
How is the 1978 "Superman: The Movie" STILL not on your list?!? It's iconic. It paved the way for future superhero movies. And Emily is sure to squirm with discomfort at the "Can You read My Mind" sequence. Hell, it was my favorite movie growing up and that sequence makes me cringe ever time!
Kneel before Zod!!!
When she said, "This is DC not Detroit" I was like, oh she ain't ready! 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the laughter and fun reaction. Great cameo from the kitty. With Snatch being a favourite of Emily's, hopefully we get to see a Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels reaction.
Enjoyed the reaction and video Lesley Nielsen is comedy gold and enjoy the channel always have a great one 🙂🤙🤙🤙
Found your channel a while back you and ya missus are great to watch great work guy's.respect from the u.k South Wales 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍✌
Watching this alone makes me laugh. But watching you watching this and your reactions makes me laugh even more. Keep it up guys
Sndbshdhhhgu somehow I never noticed the waiter before now😂 I guess that drink was a little too efficient a distraction
Loved the reaction. I'm just down here for the cute cat comments.😋
Edit
I'm the only one to appreciate your cute kitty. Ummm I mean the cat, Emily 😂
I like when you said, 11:57 this is DC not Detroit then burst out laughing. When you saw the bus said Detroit 12:07.
Leslie played a surprisingly high number of killers in 70s detective shows. Sometimes multiple characters on same show. Its weird seeing those now after he became the comedy genius he was born to be.
Matthew with the dad jokes FTW!
His face during the shoot out. He knew what was going happen 😂
The great thing is, I feel like I'm there watching the films with you guys. :D
I tried to drink some whine but I could barely hold the glass, laughing when you did.
The villain Robert Goulet was my good friend and old roommates Grandpa. He had so many pics of them together growing up. Regular old grandparent pics with Mr. Bobby G
A Canadian legend.
" Ding dong the witch is dead " 🤣😂
I've seen this movie a hundred times, I have never noticed the end credits.
Captain Ron is an underrated comedy movie.
Kind of the polar opposite of Escape From New York. =)
(They're my two favourite Kurt Russell movies!)
Go - go rillas not Ger gerillas.....
