It does not make shot more stable, you need a gimble for that. You need this rig in order to mount a mic, led light, a gorillapod, tripod with lever for filmmaking movement just like the one he’s using at min. 2.53, ecc.
Ps. If u combine the u-rig with the tripod he’s using at 2.53 you’re videos will be stable and you can do a lot of nice movement like in films, but you can’t do things like walking or handheld videos
I just bought one a couple of weeks ago and one of the things I like is being able to easily control the camera, i.e. start/stop/shutter with my thumb. Even some of the camera settings with my other thumb. it is very comfortable to hold and shoot.
the cage is the perfect size for you to hold it whilst the phone is still in there. it is around the size of an ipad so i wouldnt say its more oversized than a DSLR would be

Nice video review, but when you said “it doesn’t fit very well with the case,” I had to move on. I use Moment lenses which require a case. :(

Yes you can use any screw head tripod with it. Even a Gorilla pod.

Classic Cars & Comics the difference is in the lighting as well, that light is really small compared to the light I used for the Canon shot.

What stand do you recommend for this video recording rig? With adjustable height but also kinda small.
Any tripod should do the trick.

No,You have to buy them seperately.
The most annoying thing is the fact that it’s incredibly difficult to find a mount that fits a phone with a case.
I have done that, it works well with my Samsung S21-FE with the flip-case. Have a 'post' rubber band that holds the flip open.
