I can not express how much I was wrapped up in the story you were expressing with your art. I half expected you to draw a beat-up Chevy truck rumbling down that street making the same delivery of materials that it has made for years. I thoroughly enjoyed this art story. Thank you.
I sat there mesmerized watching the street scene come to life. If only I could .............. I need lots of practice. Thank you for taking the time to do these tutorials, I will persevere.
Peter, this has got to be one of the bet and most helpful video descriptions I've read yet on TH-cam. Great advice about paper and the section on reference ideas was so helpful. Thanks, as ever.
I haven't watched the video yet, but I just wanted to let you know that I clicked the link, the screen came up with the drawing on it and without knowing I was going to do it, I exclaimed: "Oh! That's ^#&*ing Beautiful!" and now I have to pull out some fountain pens and draw before I watch this. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hey Peter, I've been watching you now for about a month and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your videos. I love that you do these small sketches that can be done in real time. when I became a widow about 7 years ago , I took up art jourrnaling and art in general. and I can't tell you how much it helps seeing you sketch as line and wash is my favorite type of art. I also love that you let us see your palette colors too as you use them. I even have been having Peter Sheeler marathons ! Sometimes I draw right along with you and pause as I need to. So thanks again. I know it's not easy doing the videos so it really is a gift that is well appreciated. K Tanner 1
I just found you! Gorgeous piece and you used so few tools. I am inspired to loosen up my lines and try street scenes. Thank you so much for your video
Peter you bring art to life with a beautiful touch of magic and thanks for sharing all videos and you have made me to try pen and wash. You always have a wonderful way to teaching us all to paint and you are just amazing and gifted artist 🎨 so a big hug to you.
I enjoy watching your videos. Your work feels free and loose. I feel i am always too tight, so I've tried continuous line and I am enjoying it. Thank you for sharing
Really enjoyed watching you drawing and painting that picture. Really relaxing with the music, also it answered quite a few questions I'd had floating around my head. Thank you :-)
Very interesting to see the effect the water soluble ink has on the wash. You really like telephone poles where most painters want to remove them from the picture. Funny.
Beautiful colours! Thank you for sharing your work. I've learned so much from watching your videos. Can I ask if you your spray or treat your paintings with anything to preserve them?
Hi Peter. I've watched you for a great long while now and have learned so much. I wanted to know if you prefer one fountain pen over another, i.e. lamy vs TWSBI eco and if you use the higgins eternal exclusively for the fountain pens or a more permanent ink. Thanks
Hi Eric. I love the feel of the Lamy in my hand, but the TWSBI holds far more ink. I don't think the Lamy cartridges are archival which is unfortunate because I would love the convenience of that. I use both the Higgins Eternal and Higgins India Fountain ink. These are both archival, but both bleed when hit with water. For a permanent ink I use Platinum Carbon Black ink.
Dear Peter, I like the mood of your painting and the background music :) I want to know why you chose not to colour the sky. In my opinion, the contrast between buildings and the plain white was too strong. What are your thoughts? Enjoy your day, M.
P.s. Were you ever a line-man? :) I always notice your phone poles with all the electrical wiring hanging off it. Love that. I see it as your :trade-mark. :)
I'm so glad I came across this video. Thank you for your time.

Ford....
I can not correctly express how I felt watching this. Alive? Otherworldly? At peace?
Truly an inspiration, sir!
Very kind words. Greatly appreciated. Peter :)

Looks like a wet & windy day with all the blurred lines. Fantastic!
Thanks Andy. Glad you enjoyed it.
Love watching you draw. The lines are so expressive, like you are writing a letter to a friend about an exciting event that happened.
Nice comment. Thank you :)
Great pen, great paper and great lesson on perspective. Thank you Peter.

Never a Line-man, but I do love to stick them in my paintings. Even when there wasn't one in the actual scene. :)

Hey Peter, I think the Lamy pens are Trumps and Putins favorite pens, that's something you have in common with those two sweet men!!!
LOL. Hopefully that's all :)
That music is soooo close to Shine On You Crazy Diamond its not funny.
Yes it is. Kinda why I used it
