As someone whose favorite is the 4th game, I really don’t want to see a remake of 4 because I’m paranoid they’re gonna fuck the game up. I personally think CV should have the remake instead.
The atmosphere of a victorian era this game gives is a lost art in today’s time, and the theme give you a nostalgic magical feeling capcom had in their old games
Dreamcast was such a cool system to me. I remember buying one on launch. This game, Sonic, Power Stone, Soul Calibur. Sad that it didn’t have more success.

@@zachtaylor5312 absolutely, dreamcast was where I first played Code Veronica, along with a bunch others like Power Stone, Shenmue, Sonic Adventure, etc.

Then again that was always their issue. They'd build some amazing new tech, only to drop it shortly after if it didn't do well immediately. A strange company. Ahead of the pack, but lacking the guts to stay in front.
The save room with it's relaxing music is such a nice twist. It always in every Resident Evil game that has this in it, made it feel much more realistic to me. Hiding in a save spot for a while to calm down before returning to the horror that unfolds outside. This is at least what i would do in reallife. There is no reason to expose yourself to the horror 100% of the time, you need to rest not only physically but mentally as well, if only for brief moments.
this game is an absolute gem, I just replayed it again after many years and beat it in about 4 hours, but the experience is absolutely magnificent...such a disturbing and intense story telling....code veronica is esily the greatest achievment
this game needs no remake, this game was perfect. OG RE playbility with PS2 grafics, everything that I dreamed when I was playing OG RE for the PS1 back then in 1995

Resident evil as we know will never have a great save room theme like this … yeah the other save room themes are good … I always found Code Veronica save room the best … please make a remake
In a way im glad hollywood didnt butcher this entry in the series. Some hammy voicing, dialogue, and odd movements, but overall this game was well worth the weeks to get through!

Code Veronica is definitely its own thing, great story, music, characters and villains
