The put in the delay subdivisions. Now dotted 1/8th is achievable easily. 😭 so happy. lol. I’m very glad Line6 gave us access to more parameters for each effect and now we can turn off the dry signal and convert the chorus into vibrato. That was something I needed. I was not happy about them including flanger and dropping vibrato in the original release. Flanger seems so niche to me.
Thanks for this great tutorial. My use case is mainly as a backup to my main digital modeling rig. But without the ability to create a few good-sounding pre-sets it wasn't really going to work. Now it will actually do the job. I can also see using it for practicing, or in situations where I don't want to bring my bigger box.
It's my understanding in the the HX One you can only use one effect at a time...whereas the little Pod Express up to 4 at a time. Also does the HX One librarian help ? th-cam.com/video/nvgVQgzgc_I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JiHm6VikoNKWmYyI
Thanks so much for this....best review of the software out there. I tried the Tonex1 for a month but returned it...much too attached to the Mac, and IK are not great to deal with. This unit looks so much easier. Will pick one up after New years'. Thx again...great site btw.
so far it seems the editor only works on desktop/laptops nothing for mobile (i.e. android and iphone) , hope they add that option as i love that i can power up my pod express with a usb c cable connected to my phone and would love to be able to edit it with my phones touch screen
Did you try the software? Or just turning the amp knob? Not sure why they'd be totally off. If that doesn't fix it, try reaching out to Line 6. Unfortunately, I can't really help you troubleshoot beyond that.
@@GetOffset Figured it out, somehow when tweaking things i had managed to turn them off when switching my left button to only effect the distortion. Thank you!
I am interested in the express specifically because it is so simple and doesnt need to be hooked to a pc to get the most from it... but this does look like a nice addition and is going to push me over the edge to order it. Good video, thank you.
I totally get the appeal of the Express being that it's so easy to get started. I think it's so cool that the software makes it a piece of gear that can REALLY grow with you. Hope you love yours!
Mac OS X or Windows 10 or 11 are the only options i see , when i chose Mac OS 9 or any version of Windows prior to 10 i was given the message 'At this time, there is no software available that matches your selection' also there doesnt seem to be a mobile version of any sort yet 😥

Before it seemed a little limited, but with the software it’s a whole rig that almost fits in your pocket.
The sounds you can make with this pedal are legit. What a great pedal. The editor is really a huge selling point.

Wonderful video, thank you!!!
Excellent video...thanks so much. I found the IK Tonex1 much too software dependant, so returned the pedal. This convinced me to go Line6!
Now if they'd only release an editor for the HX One.
Always like the long form videos.

Yes, hx one is meant to be a low cost way to add spice and versatility to a pedalboard that already has what you need@@worthmoremusic

hell yeah , it seems that for the price you can really use this thing to its maximum capabilities. great stuff for gigging musicians.
I like all the mods after amp and cabinet, it would be great if line 6 consider moving mod block post amp and cab before delay n reverb

There's one for iPad, for sure. I don't recall for iPhone. I was told Android is coming, too.
great channel name lmao, i love offset guitars
Thanks!
hi there, nice demo. What speakers are you using in the room? Sounds like you have a good "amp in the room" sound going :)
🙋🏾♂️I found you thru the bass video…
You're not alone!
I like your videos. Have you found way to use it as interface? My Win11 doesn't make it as easy as if I would connect my Native Instruments interface.
When is this getting released? There's nothing but a dead link to their forums on their website right now.
Did you log in to this site: line6.com/software/
It's a drop down at the top.
So my amp and cab models are turned off and don't know how to turn them on, can you help?

Why doesn’t this model the Yellow Fall? Huge oversight.
😂😂😂
oh what?
I said what I said
Anyone know the correct cord for iPad?
I think it's usb c to usb c but I don't have it in front of me rn
Did you notice any latency with the pedal?
If there was, I didn't notice it, no.
@@GetOffset thanks, have a good morning.
Were you going into an amp or direct into an interface? Are you able to change cabinets or does each amp only have one default cabinet?
Direct and you can mix and match amps and cabs.
Ir loader?
No, only that one that comes with it l. They are ok. You can turn van off if you can load your own later in DAW

Do you know if the new Cataylist amp has the editor?
Should be the same as the old one IIRC.
@@GetOffset thank you
How are you connecting to the computer? iPad ? Thanks!
USB C Cable to my computer from the POD Express.
@@GetOffset Got it. Thanks!
Can you disengage the amp and just use effects?
Yes!
This thing is so sick with headphone in but i dont now how i turn off the noisegate on the nopes
You can do it both in the software or without. It's definitely in the manual. Sorry, I don't remember the specifics of how to do that on the pedal.
@@GetOffset the spark is also good i have the mini and the line6 pod greetz from holland❤️
What kind of computer OS will the editor work on?
I have a PC but I'm pretty sure I saw a download option for iOS and Mac.
Mac OS X or Windows 10 or 11 are the only options i see , when i chose Mac OS 9 or any version of Windows prior to 10 i was given the message

i just installed it on my Macbookpro. works great.! I can't believe how amazing the pod express is now that i am able to easily adjust all settings.
Yes, headphone amp as multi the only thing I haven't seen is a compressor?
Still watching the video 🤠
No comp on the guitar version, but the bass version has a comp section.
