- This is a short video just explaining how I have mapped my assignments for FSUIPC for my throttle quadrant, joystick and rudder pedals. More specifically it is showcasing how to assign functions to the many switches available on the thrustmaster throttle quadrant.

Good explanation in a simple way, that's what I needed for assigning 3-position switch to Autobrake INC/DEC function.
i have tried for a320 lights that have 3 position ON TAXI and TO but wont recognize the middle on alt/hdg as a button and doesn't assign well

Loved your tutorial !! and I am thinking of of getting the warthog thrustmaster for my p3dv4 setup. I just have a quick question.
I presently have Saitek -Throttle Quadrant, Joystick and Rudder pedals. I would like to replace ONLY the throttle quadrant but retain the Saitek Wheel(Joystick) and rudder pedals. Are there any compatibility issues( port conflicts?) in mixing and matching that I should be aware of?

Hello, you did not explain how to create macro for a PUSH button. I want to push a button to enable ground steering in my A320 and push it again to release it. Can you explain this please, yhanks.
How does I use the function of the Buttons & Switches to set a key on joystick to active 2 bottoms at the same time?
For example: when I fly FSL A321, I can use FSUIPC to set a button to turn off the PF's FD and set another button to turn off the PM's FD. So, but what I want is that when I press a button, PF and PM's FD will be turned off or on at the same time.
THANKS just questions , 1) how can i delete a macros created 2) how to do it with the 3 position switch (path alt/hdg and alt) wont pick up the neutral switch as a button

Great Video is it the same principle for the PMDG A319 , would you be able too do a complete setup guide for these Aircraft would be really helpful
john lloyd PMDG has never released an A319

john lloyd I’m pretty sure PMDG have also never released an A320. You may be thinking about Aerosofts A320

Hi! What add-on are you using for Prepar3d now? Do you have a specific 737 one? I've seen that the camera movement is brilliant and the cockpit looks great! I'm still trying to transit to P3D from FSX. Thanks!

I am currently using P3D V3.4 with the most updated graphics drivers for my graphics card (GTX 960 2GB). The camera movement in this video is actually with EZDOK v1 however I have now moved over to Chaseplane which is my camera addon of choice. I use other addons such as the PTA tool, Active Sky 16, PMDG 737 and various others.
Good luck with moving over, its a really long process but once its done you will appreciate the difference :D

Yes you do otherwise you will get double inputs which means when you put flaps down for example, it will put double the flaps down :D

I noticed the date of your video is 2016 and there is no mention of which version of P3D or FSUIPC you are using. As I followed the audio and transcript of your video, you seem to indicate that FSUIPC turns off the assignments for throttle, joystick and switches automatically when you map the assignments in FSUIPC. Please clarify if this is true. I am using the most current versions of P3D and FSUIPC and it is my understanding that it is necessary to first turn off these assignments in P3D before mapping them in FSUIPC.
Now the exsampel you use is the PMDG, these settings i make in the FSUIPC, will it apply on other aircraft too, like Captian sim757, Carenado, Aerosoft??

Hi Lee, typical me to not respond for 2 months, my apologies! FSUIPC lets you do just that, its the perfect tool for issues just like yours so I highly recommend it, more importantly the paid version is what you need!

Hi There... kindly advise, if you already using FSUIPC, do you still install the TARGET software? I am using FSX here?
Hello Anwar, I did not install TARGET. As long as you have the full version of FSUIPC you can solely use that to map your assignments. If you need anything else dont hesitate to drop me a message.

Thanks for this tutorial! Is it possible to put the reverse thrust into the afterburner area of the Hotas?
No problem Thomas. Yes it is possible and I actually use it aswell. Set the afterburner area in the buttons section of FSUIPC. Only limitation is that it is always full reverse and never idle reverse.
So it doesn't actually recognize it as an axis but as a button?
That's right unfortunately :( If there's a way around it I would love to know!

Hello Bassam, thank you very much!
Yes you can set the flaps via FSUIPC. You will need the full version and all you need to do is select FS Control and select flaps increase/decrease depending on what you want to map. Hope that helps, drop me a message if you need anything else.
question, i set up my axis's and everything works fine, EXCEPT for the rudder. i have rudder pedals, which worked fine, UNTIL I set them up with fsuipc. now, they will not respond to the sim, and when i reset it, it did nothing! i need help!!!
