I’ve worn this watch throughout mountain hiking, climbing, camping and canoeing for many years. It’s never let me down and there’s no way I’d ever wear anything else. Long live the GW M5610.

I started my journey in the watch world with classical mechanical watches (I still remember how excited I was, when I bought my first Seiko 5), as I admired the complexity and build of the mechanical movements. Soon I had to realise that my lifestyle (Im a technician, with lot of fieldworks, and Im also an outgoing person - lot of cycling, sports, climbing etc., plus I do a lot of night shifts) needs some functionalities that are impossible with a classical watch. My first beater was the Casio Royale (AE1200WH). I really loved that watch, still got it, I used it for like 8 years when I found this one. It has all the functions that my royale is missing (multiband6, tough solar, EL backlight ) so It was love at first sight. This watch is an absolute toolbox, and its seems invincible. I love it. If you want a watch with all the gears you might (or might not ) need, and dont want to worry on damages, and on batteries, and punctuality, you found the absolute banger! Do not hesitate! Its worth every cents!

If I don't use a finger nail its 50/50 if a press on the pusher actually works.

It’s September 2022 and I just ordered a 5610u for $103. It did dip down to $89 a week ago but it was not from a seller I trusted do I waited. Even with inflation at a 40 year high at the moment and other watches like the Seiko 5 tripling in cost, the GShock has stayed the same price.
