Both are stunning 👍🙂. I also have several paintings / artwork in process at the same time. In my studio I have nine 8' tables in use with various projects. In my home I have easels in my sunroom where I like to paint larger paintings. I think working on just one project at a time would make my head explode (too many ideas).
Thank you so much! 💛 The cards were well received and much appreciated! I think what you're saying speaks well to the organized chaos mentioned in one of your quotes from the video I watched on your channel yesterday! ☺️ My studio is always "messy" but I know where everything is and it helps me stay on top of the projects I am working on. Sometimes I wish my space looked cleaner, but I can't for the life of me imagine taking everything out and putting it away again every day 😳😂
Hi Kiala ❤️❤️❤️ I was thinking about you today and it brought a big smile to my face to see your comments pop up here! Thank you for making the time to watch (I know how busy you are 😉) I’m getting so excited for our Retreat in December 😆😆😆 Semding you lots of love ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗
I love your video and I LOVE your art. 😍 Thank you for my Colorado birthday card. 🤗 I'm framing it today! Colorado and I both miss you terribly. 🌄 I love you my friend. ❤
Awe 🥰🥰🥰 I’m so happy it made it to Colorado in time for your birthday 🥳 And I’m so happy you love it ❤️ I miss you a ton too sweet friend 🤗 We may not be physically close anymore, but you occupy a special place in my heart xoxo 😘🤗🤗🤗
Gabby, I have a confession to make. I start watching. Then I fast forward to the end because I can’t wait to see the final product. All your pieces are amazing. Then I go back and watch from the beginning all the way through. It’s like reading a book and immediately going to the last page to see how it ends. I don’t do that when I read, but I can’t help myself with your artwork.
Hehe! That’s so cute! Love it 🥰 This video is pretty long too. I’m never too sure if that’s good or bad, but I’m just trusting that it’s good to change things up. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face with your comments. I hope you have a wonderfully zen viewing tomorrow morning. Namaste, Jessie 🙏🤗
These are just gorgeous! I love watching your calming videos, so it's no surprise that you channel is growing and that others love you too! May it continue to grow, and may this YT community continue to support your journey as you do ours. Love from Kansas! 🌻
Hi my dear, what a great work again, surely I'll try it also in future. I loooove the outcome of both pictures so much specially the golden trees of Colorado. All two pics are so very much inspiring for me. And I'm waiting for your adding our beloved Star Gold at the end as much as I do, if I paint it myself 😂🙈❤🔥!!! Crazy me! Again you talk to my heart with many things you say or explain during this video. How I loooove your videos, they bring to me insurance for my own work, inspiration and boldness for my work. Love and hugs ❤❤❤💌💌
Hello hello sweet Trixi ❤️🤗 Thank you so much, as always, for your kind words! I had so much fun making these two little card fronts! And, I couldn't wait to add my star gold too, hehe! ✨✨ It really made the Colorado aspens come alive. If you're crazy, I'm right there with you, haha! 😉🥰 I hope you are feeling better and better today and every day! I'm excited to see what you will create next ☺️ Sending lots of love and big virtual hugs your way 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️
Gabrielle, just wanted to let you (and everyone else) that Kremer pigments is having a sale on everything, including their amazing watercolor pans. Twenty percent off for today and tomorrow. Now I need to watch this video. Namaste.
Greetings from the desert. Your ideas and style lend themselves quite well to the deep colors of the desert and their sunsets. I'm always so impressed with your control. At my age (75) my hand shakes a bit so I appreciate the guide lines you use and you accept a little wave in them. Your work is very meditative and gives me a sense of presence which is useful for anxiety. I don't like flying and I'm going to France ( an 11 hour flight). I plan on using your ideas for a small sketch book to calm my nerves.❤❤ New subscriber thanks!
This comment is so meaningful to me! ❤️ Thank You for making the time to share this with me and to connect with me! I believe you using creativity during your flight will make it so enjoyable for you 🥰 When you focus your mind on what you are doing in your journal you will surely feel more at ease ❤️ I also find bringing attention to calming my breath to be helpful as well. I hope you have the most amazing trip to France! I’m excited for you 🤗 Bon voyage!
Gabby, De atraventis document white. You can use it with a fountain pen. It doesn’t dry like white gel pens according to a reviewer on Amazon. 45 ml bottle for $19.80. A little pricey but sounds like fun.
One reviewer recommends using this ink with twsbi fountain pens because if not used on a regular basis this ink can clog your fountain pens. I don’t see this as a problem because you use yours pretty regularly.
Jessie, you rock! ❤️🙏 Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I’m going to look it up for sure. I will feel so much better not having to throw out pens left, right and centre. And you’re right, I use mine often enough that it shouldn’t be a problem ☺️ Thank you again sweet friend 🤗
Hi, thanks for sharing! I'm an artist in the south of France & have just started my TH-cam journey showing my abstract process using acrylics & I guess that's how you happened to pop up in my feed. So from one artist to another all the best of luck! 😊
Bonjour Irène! Je viens d'aller voir ton site et je me suis inscrite ☺️ I'm assuming you speak French, but just in case, I'll switch back to English. Don't hesitate to write me in French if you can - I miss being able to speak my native tongue. I do abstract acrylic painting as well - it was the first medium I fell in love with. I look forward to watching your videos and following your journey as well. Thank you for making the time to watch and connect ❤️ And all the best to you on your journey as well! If you ever have any questions relating to content creating for TH-cam, don't hesitate to reach out also. I've learned a lot over the last 2 years and hopefully I could be of help to you in this way too. 🤗
@@gabrielleannacormierart Merci! I’m English but married a Frenchman so yes ended up here in France! Yes I do speak French but easier to write in English 🤪 It would be great to stay in touch! 😀
Great to see you working on two pieces at the same time. I'm sure it would keep you moving as you let one dry. I do work on two at the same time but I usually have them taped to two separate boards. Will give this a try. Thank you - once again for your inspiration and congratulations on growing your following.
Thank you Julie ❤️ Another reason it’s good for me to tape two pieces of paper to my plexiglass is that it stops glare from my overhead lights 😂 I want to figure out something different for that, but I do enjoy working on two pieces at once. It’s fun to see you do that too. Thanks for making the time to connect 🤗
Congratulations on your channel growth, I'm not surprised! 🥳 Thank you for your kind words about your new friendships, and for taking time to get to know us as well! 😊 The blue and green paints with that gold gets me every time, it looks stunning! 😍 What are your favorite colors? 🎨 My favorite colors are pinks, purples, blues and greens; I have always loved things that are colorful! 💗❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank you so much Lori 🥰 It really is such a gift to be connecting like this! ✨💝 Green is my favorite color because it reminds me of nature. Purple, blue, magenta, yellow… They and more make my heart sing ☺️ I picked up my black watercolor paper yesterday and can’t wait to give it a try 😆 Isn’t it fun to be creative!? I’ll let you know how I make out with my paper. Thanks again for sharing and for making the time to connect ❤️🤗
I loved watching you create these two beautiful pieces of art, and whoever receives your note cards will be truly blessed. I use Dr. PH Martin's bleed proof white as an alternative to those pesky white pens and it gives good coverage. I also love the shimmer of those golds ~ I am working on Christmas cards really need to restrain myself😂
Hi Ann ❤️ Thank you so much for your kind words and for telling me about your favorite white ink. ☺️ Does it load well in a fountain pen? I really know what you mean about trying to restrain yourself with the gold. It’s so hard!!! It’s certainly no secret that it’s my favorite gold 🤩
@@gabrielleannacormierart I'm not sure if it will load into a fountain pen as it's rather thick. I use a brush to apply. Maybe if you thinned it with water? But then it wouldn't be so opaque. I wonder why the white pen is so unreliable versus the metallic ~ I find that very curious!
@@annkriger5989 thank you so much for this info! ☺️ I’d probably prefer using it wit a brush too. I have noticed that metallic Watercolor paints do tend to overpower most inks. But, I can usually cover my gold with my black India ink. I’ll need to try this with my white India ink as well. I guess the thing with watercolors is that their solubility makes them hard to cover, especially when they are applied more « thickly ». More experimentation to come! Thanks so much for connecting and sharing Ann ❤️
I'd use that particular ink cuz it's so good ... and use with either a pointed or glass pen to achieve good coverage and avoid clogging a fountain pen.
Hi Amanda!! ❤️ How fun it is to connect with another NBer ☺️ I was not aware of this, no! In what area? My husband, Garou and I hiked the Irving Nature Park Loop on our way home a few weeks ago. There's so much more for us to discover in the Stonehammer area! Thank you for your kind words and for making time to connect 🤗
I’m considering buying 2 fountain pens that draw up ink into a chamber (I can’t remember the name of it) so I can have one black and one white. The Twisby Eco pen might be the option I go for.
Oooooh! Thank you for sharing! ❤️ I think you’re talking about a converter and I’ve wondered if that’s all I need to do too. Sometimes inks don’t flow so well and block the tip so I’ll probably need to experiment a bit. I’ll check out the twisty eco pen ☺️
Thank you Nanette ❤️ Here is a link to the Kremer Pigments website: shop.kremerpigments.com/us/. In their menu look for both under ready made colors ☺️
No, I have not! But, I'm definitely curious to try it. ☺️ I have an Eco TWSBI with document white ink - depending on the watercolors underneath, the ink is not very opaque (which I don't always mind). Thank you for the suggestion - I'm going to look for this ink ☺️
