Aww ❤️ I'm so happy you enjoyed it this much!! I had so much fun creating it and the colors in this little painting make me smile ☺️ Thank you for making the time to watch and comment 🤗
You paint with an amazing 'Magical Vision' and that inspires me so much. I felt like I was in a calming and creative trance while watching you. I'm so glad I found your tutorials, Gabrielle. There is Joy in every one of your pieces. Thank you for sharing your idea's.
Hello friend 👋! I think this painting turned out to be stunning! 😍 The colors flow so beautifully together! You always know exactly what your paintings need to make the most impact! I love the salt and of course the star gold 🌟 was the star of the show! ✨😊 Have a joyful creative week! 🫶
Hi Lori ❤️ thank you for your kind words my friend 🥰 salt, a few simple colors, a few simple marks and ✨star gold✨ easy peasy fun!!! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching and making the time to connect 🤗 sending you lots of love 💕
thank you so much Gabrielle, I really really enjoyed you create this beautiful and gorgeous painting. I really really love this, it's so ethereal and has the look of another world about it. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
@@gabrielleannacormierart Yay for smiles! I am so happy with it that I am giving it to my neurosurgeon for his birthday. He will be fascinated with the concept of Neurographic art as well.
Every time I watch your video it creates meditative story in my head. So calming, beautiful, unique and joy. Thank you for another awesome painting. I can feel that within the layers of mother earth's crust, sodalite crystal has been found. ❤
It brings me so much joy to see that you get this much from my videos ❤️ I’m glad you enjoy them and I really appreciate your kind words! I also appreciate you sharing with me what you see in this painting - i love it! Thank you 🤗
Hi Stevie ❤️ I’m so happy you enjoyed this one to the point of creating your own 🥰 I’m smiling because it’s fun to be able to share in these joyful experiences with you 🤗 Thank you!
Thank you so much for being here Ria ❤️🤗 I appreciate you making an effort to communicate with me even though English is not your first language. Please don't hesitate to write me in your native language if it's easier for you. I love learning about other cultures and even if I don't understand, I can always find a way to translate your message ☺️
Dear Gabrielle, thank you for your great videos. I love them and they inspire me. What kind of ink do you use? is it waterproof? I boought some white ink, waterproof, it said opaque, but it is not.
Thank you so much for your kindness! ❤️ I use a variety of different inks - some more waterproof than others. One thing I have noticed is when I give my ink more time to dry, it tends to be more waterproof. The black ink I use most frequently is Dr Martin's India ink. In my fountain pen, I have Namiki ink (in black). The white ink I bought for my TWSBI Eco fountain pen is DeAtramentis Document White ink - it has appeared more opaque when used on watercolor that was very dry and then less opaque when I was more impatient and didn't let my paper dry sufficiently. Yesterday, I was working on a painting hoping the white ink would appear more translucent and of course, it showed up more opaque. 😂 So, I tend to just go with the flow and try to look at how my art supplies show up for me as what is meant to be. But, if I really want to resist and get more opaque whites (and I often do 😉) I usually reach for my gesso. Or if I want my ink to appear more translucent, I let it dry a little then I lightly brush water over it. Experiment, play and have fun! There is more magic in your hands than in your supplies ✨🎨 I hope this helps! Thank you for making the time to reach out ❤️
@@gabrielleannacormierart thank you for your detailed answer. And your certainly right it’s more what we do than the supplies. Love „the magic is in our hands“. I will keep that in mind. Painting and being creative (I started about a year ago after 30 years of thinking I don’t have talent, because they told me in school) is what grounds me and let’s my soul rest. And I am talented 😁. I will continue to watch your videos. Thank you so much.
@@Thafmatos I'm sorry you were ever told you don't have creative talent! My first grade teacher shamed me in front of my class for my "lack of talent" 😔How wrong they were!! As people, sometimes we think we act with good intentions and don't realize how hurtful our actions can be. Now, I know that my teacher had her own wounds and she was simply reflecting them on me. The real victory here is that we both are rising above these comments and we are proving to ourselves every time we pick up our creative tools that yes we do have creative talent!!! And yay for us ❤ Your creativity is important and valid and I'm so glad you are seeing its worth now ❤🤗 Happy creating my friend 🎨
@@gabrielleannacormierart yes! Yeah for us. ❤️ Experiencing how wrong they thought about me helps me not to judge others if they can do something or not, but instead try to encourage other to follow their dreams. Sometimes all we need is this one person that believes in us. That cheers for us and sees our effort and our improvement and in encourages us to keep going. I try to be this person more often.
Hi Kathleen ☺️ Salt is definitely a fun way to add interesting marks in the paint! After I apply the salt, I let the paper dry completely and then I scrub the salt off using a clean piece of paper towel. Then, I'm good to start adding marks with my pens and markers. I hope this helps! Thank you for making the time to connect ❤️
Hello Gabrielle, I absolutely love your work and your tutorials have opened up a different path in art for me. Please could you tell me which detail brush you favour? Many thanks, Stevie, York, UK
Hi Stephanie ❤️ I'm so happy to see you connecting with your creativity in this way ☺️ My favourite detail brush is one that is made by Creative Mark and it is a size 20/0. I bought it on Amazon and hopefully it is available in the UK as well. Here is a link to Amazon in the US so you can see what mine looks like amzn.to/42gij7B (hopefully you can open the link even though we are not on the same continent). Happy creating my friend 🤗🎨
Many thanks indeed, for taking the time to answer my query. I will try to acquire a set of three. I’m having a wonderful time expanding my style of art. You have been such an inspiration, thank you so much. Stevie, York, Uk
Thank you so much! ❤️ I can’t see why not! Maybe test it over a little swatch first to make sure it works well for you. Or just go for it and see what happens ☺️ It’s the best way to learn!
