  • Trust me when I say this, I have been antsy for this one. Watching from the side lines at Midwest due to Covid has made me very upset, and I was keen to get back on the track! Feels wonderful to be back, and even better with some amazing friends and teammates at PhD!

      Considering it's our closest track, I would definitely like to do ABCC more. We even entertained a membership there but atm I can't make the math work, hah

      A legendary driver that deserve a better send off than his final few seasons. I was never a Seb fan, but his personality and outspokenness won me over. The finger is always for him! haha

    Hey, does this car have a replaced rear subframe? I know the Apex Taxi guys at the Ring in Germany is complaining about the stock subframe in these, did u have the same issue?
    Great driving!

    • @JackieDing86
      @JackieDing86  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We are running the OEM subframe front and rear, just with SPL adjustable suspension arms. As long as the car's ride height is setup correctly, we at PhD do not think an aftermaket subframe with altered geometry is necessary for the Supra to drive nicely.

      @@JackieDing86 alright, good to hear.
      They've been blaming all types of thinks on the car, having to make a new subframe and all that just to help with the toe moving under braking

    Jackie, which manufacturer made your rear wing? I'm guessing Spage Sport, but I don't see the same vented side plates on the Spage website.

    • @JackieDing86
      @JackieDing86  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, it is a Spage sport SP012 rear wing with their new 3D endplate. You can email me at jackie@phdracinglab.com for more info!

    So why not carry a set of wet tires like the continentals? Would be helpful for situations like this :)

    • @JackieDing86
      @JackieDing86  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Budget, haha. Also those Conti wet slicks on the RCF wouldn't be considered legal for our class anyway given the treadwear rating limit of 200tw or above, so we'd need something like a full all season. But in the end the rain sessions are a little inconsequential, and while the CRS isn't comparable to a Conti wet "slick", it more than holds its own in the wet compared to basically anything else.
