This update (bountiful harves) was a game changer in what we believe is known about draendron and the role of the player in the world,for there is more to know currently and in the future. especially when it may hint at who Yahrim was before we learned of the existence of the dragon aerie while we were going through our journey. the origins of Calamitas brimstone powers and why she had such lower affinities with other types of magic other than the one previously mentioned and the nature of the clone.
So the storm weaver isnt the same as the devourer, and its possibly older? Thats very interesting... All this info changes alot of what we thought about the mod.

Here’s a couple fanmade Draedon conversations I came up with:
*XP-00 Hypnos:*
“When designing Hypnos, I originally conceptualized it as an artificially intelligent program you could ask with your voice to activate material without having to press any buttons, such as lights and displays. Unfortunately, my voice has had trouble registering to the program and the idea had to be changed. I eventually decided to utilize my exotechnology and created that mechanized cortex which I’m honestly not really proud of. Because the artificial intelligence was controlled by the brain itself, I couldn’t afford to let it fight alongside my magnum opus.”
*Mysterious Eclipse:*
“Yes, I am aware of that unusual eclipse that looks like something sentient is blocking out the sun. I don’t have a lot of information about it, but the samples I collected from the distortion seems to have resonated towards that strange entity during the times of that eclipse.”
*Terminus:*
“You managed to acquire that artifact from the bottom of the abyss? I didn’t even think you were able to withstand such traumatizing air pressure down there. I’ve looked into it before but I never bothered sending out any machines to retrieve it. It’s because I’ve discovered a strange force within it that seems like it has a portion of a powerful auric soul and I didn’t want to disturb it. I’m assuming it seems to have the ability to recognize one’s memories, but that’s just speculation.”
*XD-22 Hibachi:*
“That machine was mostly the result of an experiment to see if my Exotechnology was compatible with my nanomachines that plagued the jungle after I left Yharim. The results seems to have somehow reacted with the Exotic Resonance from within the Exo Prisms and have fused together with the nanomachines to what appears to look like a negative form of the Exo Prisms. They were really difficult to harness as they were incredibly volatile to and would destroy almost all matter that comes into contact with it. The only method I was able to stabilize these negative Exo Prisms was by channeling the positive ones into an extreme coolant system. I attempted to augment some of the plaguebringers with this stuff, but it took me a total of 22 revisions to perfect the design. It was monotonous, arduous, and a frustrating process all in 1 project. I would explain how I solved these problems but I’m not going to really explain it in full detail.”
Maybe replace “stuff” with “material” to make it sound more like Draedon

A bit of an out there theory, but what if Draedons creator uploaded his consciousness into Draedon? Or copied it to be more exact. I only think this because 1. It makes no sense for his creator to just die in the middle of a forest with his magnum opus in front of him, and 2. Draedon says his “brain” is designed to imitate an organic brain (a loose connection at best), which confused me a bit for a few reasons, like why would you create a synthetic brain in the first place? Advanced circuitry/coding is one thing, but a full fledged brain? Especially weird to give an A.I., since it’s unneeded complexity to the design. This then calls into question whether or not Draedon IS an A.I. because, yes, it would make sense for him to be so smart and all, but it would also make sense that he just expanded and worked on that Synthetic brain a bit more over the last 600 years.
That being said, Draedon has to have had a level of sentience since his awakening because of his directory being so vague. What I mean to say is that he needs a level of intellectual autonomy above that of just an average machine, hence leading to sentience.

Honestly, considering how consistent and relatively inexpensive reforging is in Calamity, that wouldn't be too much of an issue.

Why does every update have to change the lore so much? I'm having trouble keeping track of everything ;(
The updates aren't changing the lore, merely adding more or updating outdated sources. Nothing introduced in new lore will ever be retconned, so you don't need to worry about the lore changing.
Do note that there are still a few sources that haven't been updated to new lore, though - namely, boss dialogue, NPC dialogue, and vanilla Bestiary. Those will be updated to new lore in the future.

Right, I hope there are other people on board with me on this, but the way that draedon describes Miracle matter, makes the weapons feel a lot weaker than what they could be...? I hope that makes sense, but I feel that some of the miracle weapons are a little underwhelming when you read the description of the material itself. I mean just look at what they say!
Miracle matter has huge potential, and can be used to make powerful weapons. The reworked Supernova, Exoblade and Photovecinerator show the true might of miracle matter. As for the rest of the weapons? Hellll no, in fact I personally think that the other weapons are underwhelming in terms of power. That is why I feel they should be reworked so that their power and abilities accurately match their description.
I have no better way of explaining this, but I hope you understand. 😅
