Thank you for sharing this. I'm loving my 125X but feel it's time to address the clutch fade issue when riding in technical sections. I was blown away by how well the bike handles slow technical riding though. Also considering going with 13/52 gearing to make 2nd and 3rd gear a little more useable and make it easier to ride a gear higher for better control.
Good timing on this video. I’m really interested in one of these units as we’ve gotten into a lot is super slow hard enduro type stuff and I’m clutching my brains out.
What do you think of the 125x ? I'd like to hear what you think about it after riding it for a bit now. I've got one on order for January. Great video and content, thanks!!
I’ve got a couple of my races on the channel where I talk more in depth about the bike. I love it. I thought maybe I would get bored with it but the more you ride a 125 the more comfortable you get on one. It’s great
I bought this hydro clutch kit and lever after i saw this video. How did you mount the lever with the correct plunger for it all to work. i couldn't see very clearly in the video how you did it.
@@woodrumracingvlogs okay I got the same one, now I couldn’t see in the video, did you modify your clutch perch? Because it looks like it’s not a direct fit
This was a 2021. I think they made changes to the 23 and I'm not 100% sure magura put any focus on building one for that bike yet. sorry, I wish I had better info.
Lmao, I put a Hymec system on my '21 YZ250 this winter. Got a "shorty" lever, a Hammerhead anodized resevoir cap, love the Magura's. But put a new top end on today...finally, fired the bike up......and the clutch wasn't compressing enough. So I snapped....and realized 5 min layer that I had put the wrong spacer on. Whoops.
@@woodrumracingvlogs When you hooked the actuator arm up to the hymec rod, did the actuator arm pull the rod down? When I hooked the actuator arm up to my hymec set up on my yz 250 the hymec rod didn’t have any tension on it from the actuator arm so I couldn’t pull in my clutch at all it was like a brick wall

Sorry, I just saw this. I used a Flo lever. I used their application chart for a 14-22 Husky. WPS part number 122-0727. Hope this helps!

When is part 2 of the kx100 build coming out
We are still waiting on a few parts to come in and the graphics to come back. We're guessing it's going to be a few more weeks. Sorry
Hi there!! Nice video. Can you tell us what part number you got? I have a Yz250x I would like to upgrade to but not sure what part I need.
Yes. WPS part number 17-9603
What's the Magura part number? If you have it.
Where did you find this clutch system at? I've been looking everywhere for one for my 23 125x and I can't find one

Did you find the throw on the actuator arm to be a bit less than with the cable?
I haven't noticed that.

Hymec clutch link?
Thank you bro!
What is the specifacations on the kit you got I don't know what size kit to get.
It's been a minute since I did this. I think I commented the part number at one point. Let me check.
What brand lever did you put on?
Flo Motorsports. Part number 122-0727 $69.95. Have not been able to break one yet
Hi. Does anyone know if PRO TAPER XPS is compatible with HYMEC?
Why in gods name would you put a mikuni on a YZ
Are you referring to the Mikuni carb that came on the bike stock or did you think I put that on there?
@@woodrumracingvlogs ah well it was to my knowledge yz’s came with Keihin carbs
@@woodrumracingvlogs geuss you learn something new everyday
Hahah. Haven’t really had any issues with the Mikuni. We came off of KX’s with Keihin’s and I didn’t really have many issues with those either.
