The reason why you put the left over the right is that the gi is inspired by the kimono and when a kimono was the dress of the dead person for their funeral, they'd put it right over left.
The most frustrating thing about martial arts gear is in the sizing especially if you're a big strong guy because they're all made for slender Asian frames. I'm 6ft tall 300lb with a 50" waist and only a couple products fit me but none of them wrap properly except ones I had to tailor down in height. All they do is up size the entire product... they don't make it for bigger stronger people so if I get a gi that fits me I have to tailor it down from the seven-foot-tall cut they deliver to your door because the ridiculous manufacturers just assume the same frame at the same standard dimensions rather than keeping it of average height/length and just making it bigger to accommodate a larger more powerful individual. When I was 350lbs I only had two gis that would fit and they were hard to find and exorbitantly expensive for what they were...Fuji 10 and MACS 12 (these were the largest commercial Gis available but of course they were cut for people who were 10 ft tall so they are comically long!
Oh dear. How to put pant's on. Common Sense is how to put the pant's and the jacket on. The belt i understand, but there's a reason your about the only guy that's bothered to tell people something that if they can't work out after 15 min's on there own. Then i don't know what to say....

Thank you sir for walking through every step. I’m supposed to wear my gui today and was embarrassed I didn’t know how to wear it
OMG, I've been wearing the pants completely wrong! Hahaha
Well first time i wore the pants the false way haha
Thank you
...very insightful 🤙
I am 5 foot 9 and 120 lbs. I cannot find a proper gi. And Gracie Barra gave me an A2 and it is way to fat but long enough
Tatami has slim models. Maybe you should get A1L? Same length as A2 but more slim.
Damn I’m 5 2 at most and weigh 150
who might have trouble wearing a new gi?

republica-esp-killuminati Just be extra careful when you wash them, and let them dry naturally and it should be fine.

I have a disability so I use origin combat GI bottoms Instead of Tying them What they do have A fly and built Blake a pair of jeans
This may be a dumb question but I'm a newbie. Do you usually wear a layer underneath it or just underwear?
I was like....God who wear the bottom backwards....wait shit....I have being wearing them backwards 🤣
Hahah I like this guy
Yeah I assure you the knee stitching is an issue of durability, not padding.
Thank you!!
Is that hastings?
thanks

I always thought the left over right was representative of Seppuku?
Thanks for the video but it could have been done in 2 min max
That’s so patronising... do you know what is the back / front of your gi pants. Jeesus
Not really. The only way I could tell my gi was the strings. He is weight
This video was actually useless.
