- Is it even important to mix in key? If you have beat-matched your tunes, everything looks like it should work but for some reason it still doesn't sound great...the chances are you are facing a key clash and this is when you need to mix a song with a compatible key.
If you are a beginner and this all sounds a little complicated- don't worry!
This video shows you how to mix in key the easy way using a simple tool known as the Camelot Wheel. I will show you how it works to ensure you never have a key clash again!

Apologies for the slight background flicker...camera frame rate wasn’t quite set right.
Difficult subject for a video, well done 😎🎧👍🏻
It took a few takes to try and make it as simple as possible haha! Thank you!
Another really informative video, keep up the good work!
Thank you buddy 😊
Very interesting, nice one, thanks for the info
Thank you mate!
Really helpful and nice haircut
Lol it needs another cut 😂
So the camelot System is just the circle of fifth rotated 120 degrees anti clockwise right ? Do you have an idea why they decided to rotate it ( starting on Emajor on 12 oclock instead of Cmajor ?) ...
Another question, The neighbours keys fit well together because they only have 1 note difference , right?
Thank you for watching, so the Camelot wheel and circle of fifths are the same information- just displayed in different ways.
