    Hi, my DAW is far away. More than 80feet. Does wing have a Ethernet out I can use to plug in my DAW?

      Hi 👋
      You can invest into a Dante system ( Dante card for the wing + a Dante Virtual Soundcard for your computer ) or a DN9630 USB interface to AES50 and run a Cat5e cable and the cheapest option would be a USB extension cable of 100ft.
      That would be your options
      Hope that help

    Thank you so much for this tutorial, I am looking to purchase the Wing in March and will save and rely on this video to get started. I know Behringer does NOT offer a manual yet so many thanks! Subbed your channel.

    Question, if I do this during a live setting to record only, does it affect the live sound?

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi 👋
      Only the Gain is affecting both live and recording. Everything else is not affecting each other.

    1:30 - I can see you have internal Dante module. Did you got it officially from Behringer or just bought Brooklyn II card from someone else? (yes, I read/saw that you can do this and DIY insert it into WING, just curious if that's somehow near release or just self-hacked ;))

    Bro I see you are using Midas dl 251 stage box , please let me know difference between dl32 and dl251 sound quality

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Stephen
      it definitely help my mix blend better.
      it’s not a night and day difference, the DL32 will get you really far for the price but the DL251 had more headroom and multiply that by all your inputs, clock is also coming form the 251.
      it just help me get better results with less processing

    • @pgmaillot

      As Guillaume mentioned, he will cover that. Now if you want to use your WING to perform or finish your mix (as opposed to use your computer), one option is to use WingReaperAutoMate. REAPER is used for recording and playback audio data, and the WING audio engine and surface controls are used to perform your mix. WingReaperAutoMate takes care of the automation management, and more.

      Hi Michael
      are you talking about the USB interface or internal drive ?
      that information can help me a lot

    • @michaelmaasen872
      @michaelmaasen872 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GuillaumeLortie the interface. Logic doesn't see it, and neither does audio devices or apple settings.

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michaelmaasen872 ok and can you see the drives, like if you where to do a FW update with a computer?

    • @michaelmaasen872
      @michaelmaasen872 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GuillaumeLortie when I plug in a thumb drive, I see it. If I plug the USB cable into the back and change the setting to file storage, my computer can see the WING then. But I'm trying to record 48 channels of audio into my DAW, and it doesn't seem to be working that way.

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michaelmaasen872 now we know the USB cables and port is good,.
      I’ve seen 1 case when the audio interface was bad on a console, before opening a ticket with Music Tribe, let’s try 1 more thing.
      if you plug in your usb cable in the computer and change the amount of USB In and Out form the setup menu, set it to 2/2 then 32/32 then 48/48.
      try that and check if your computer see anything happening.

    Thanks Guillaume, May I link to your series (when you reach REAPER)?
