To me, Tarantulas just look like they are slightly worse but still fill the same role as like 5 other units. Tanky, but not as much as a pack of Steel Balls or Sledgehammers. Good chaff clear, but not as good as Arclights or Fire Badgers(plus techable for AA chaff clear like Arclights). Rapid fire for things like shields on Fangs, but not as rapid as Mustangs or Typhoons. Got an upgrade for decently heavy splash, but not as good as Scorpions. Decent single target DPS, but it gets beaten by Marksmen and also Steel Balls. Weird, but probably has it's uses. Definitely niche though.
very hard unit to figure out but it did work out kind of a good unit to put objects on but yeah... do you go arclight or mustang for same price.... special unit.... still wellcome esspecially as starting unit
I played a couple of games massing tarantulas against the same guy at 1600, the conclusion is that he didn't know how to counter them yet, but idk if it's good. I like the AP bullets on it tho
@@SurreyEZ I honestly don't know, as I said, my experience is 2 games against the same opponent, if you manage to scale them, they deal pretty well against lower level rhinos or worms with ap and range🤔
I don't think the EMP is good even though it hacks the assmen instantly. Well maybe in this specific game since he doesnt have any chaff due to both our opener being bad. But usually its just better to go range barrier and then the EMP is too expensive
@SurreyEZ Yeah, for this special game it seems pretty good. But the hacker always has been very situational. So the emp has his spot in my hacker techs
why this arkward pick? Havent understood why or for what u picked double chaf clear. BTW Tarantula air tech only cost 150 and counter wraith easy. Only Overload can resist this autocannons, and phoenix outrange it, but its only 150 cmon, arclight air tech cost 300.
hacker melting point combo pretty strong
This was awesome. We need a hacker theme for the little rat guy maybe? 😎
that would be cool :D have to try to do it
Rat: Look at this bad play. Its completely unplayable.
Rat: So lets ofcourse pick it!
Bro the video just started and Im already dying😂😂😂
It was even better when it pans over and the opponent has Tarantula/Marksmen
This game was amazing lmao

Yea, takes some time to actually figure out in which specific situation each unit is a little bit better than the other

The Tarantula and Sandworm are shadow buffs to Hacker.
yes and the 400 cost fort barrier
If the tech costs on hackers was lower it would be OP with all the chaff clear options.
Can you do a guide on how to position starting units? I always do one of the recommended even though I'm 1900
yes
The tarantula is fine, the only thing that I don’t like are the mines, they are not really giving me an advantage by also blowing up my own chaff
They are great for non aggro placement missile clearing.

yea the AP bullets very strong for the carry Tarantula, but is the carry Tarantula good ?

Sacco needs to rename to Succed after this one
it seems to me acid crowlers could have been a thing depends your builds ofc
how do hackers interact with field maintenance? does the healing counter hacking progress?
if its full hp, the fm does nothing. if its not the hacker need to hack the healed hp also
Hacker with emp could be crazy good here 🤔

@pnied8993 yeah I swap multi hacking with EMP, multi is really bad and when you need it the real thing you need is chaff clear...
This game was so easy. Mass crawlers could have deleted everything

Holy Moly........ It's so bad.....
Tarantulas are garbage 🗑 units, period.
