    I'd like to see how to adjust the air screw and idle screw. What too much of one or to little of another is like.

    where can you get one of the floater caps, the little plastic caps that keep the floaters from coming off. Mines missing one and i think that is the reason why my carb leaks gas. thanks and have a nice day.

    I had a question.. I believe the part of the carb is called the ventury, it's the brass, curved post in the center of the throat of the carb. How would it affect running if it was bent. Instead of being even around the one corner is bent in and the other is bent out.. I bought it like this and I'm wondering if this could cause my running issue... any info would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance..

    4:37 watch project farm he tests stable with ethanol blended gas it doesn`t prevent corrosion inside the carb! just store it dry is my thought

    • @MidNebraskaMotorsports

      Sounds like your float needs to be adjusted or you have gotten something stuck in your needle/valve area. It happens often when putting fuel lines back on. Let me know what you find!! Let us know if you need anything else. www.midnebraskamotorsports.com/

    Hey I’m new to the game with Polaris! I have a Trail Blazer 250, it needs either a carb rebuild or a new one. All I’ve seen is trail boss 250 carbs... so my question is: are the trail boss and trailblazer carbs the same? If I was to buy a “trail boss” labeled carb it would work on my trail blazer?

    • @alexkichigin
      @alexkichigin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mid Nebraska Motorsports if you would be willing to send me a link from YOUR store of a 2 stroke carb for a 99” Polaris trailblazer then you have another happy customer and a 5 star rating to go with it!

      @@MidNebraskaMotorsports hey this isn't a reply but seem like you know what your talking about as far as the 250 trailblazer and I'm wanting to do some work on it and was wondering if you would mind helping me out a little bit for the best ways to speed it up guess changing jets I heard and cluth rebuild and maybe pipes and is it going to be worth it in the long run I'm planning on keeping it putting all new plastics on it and completely going through it thanks. I have a 2001 TrailBlazer I just cleaned watching this. I think it's called the needle jet, it didn't have a "hanger" to connect to the float arm. Is this bad? It still seems to run okay. I am trying to chase down a bog right around the 1/4 throttle area. It will accelerate fine without load(neutral), but under load it bogs for some reason. I'm thinking it may be the issue.

    • @kenwilks6289
      @kenwilks6289 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MidNebraskaMotorsports Interesting, the parts diagram show it with the hanger. Also it's interesting you mention the main jet. Years 2000-2003 have a 110 according to all the parts sites I have visited, but everything before and after those years have a 130. I've ordered a carb kit that comes with both. I'm going to replace everything and stick the 130 in and see where I'm at. I've also moved the "E" clip up and down on the needle and there is no improvement.

    • @kenwilks6289
      @kenwilks6289 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I rebuilt the carb today with a Quadboss kit that comes with 3 different main jets. Good thing I did, because previous owner had a 155 jet in there. I was only able to read it after taking a brass brush to it and getting a magnifying glass. I'm guessing they must of had an aftermarket muffler and sold it before I bought the machine. After replacing everything and using the the 130 jet, the stuttering is gone.

    Carb and choke cleaner is typically not a good idea spraying onto non-metallic floats, they can be damaged by such chemicals...
