I watched this video several times, just ordered the kit for my 1996 Timberwolf factory carb, got a Amazon carb on there now running fine but for how long who knows 🤷♂️
Thanks!!

Hello good video very instructive…you forgot to mention the float height ! Do you have this information?
darn, I know. I need to get one posted. Sorry for the delay in getting that out. Thanks for the comment and for watching. Let us know if you need anything! www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports
Hi, your video are really great. I'm not mechanical but have find your videos very helpful. I have a Yamaha Bear tracker 250 (2002) and I'm planning on rebuilding my carb. The previous owner put a Keihin CVK carb on it and the only kit I can source locally is apparently for a Mikuni, aren't they compatible. Isn't the outer tread on all jets and screws the same?
Do you know where I can get a new boot from carburetor to air filter? I’m having a problem with sputtering when I’m accelerating and gonna try your carb kit and put a new boot on. My boot is cracked and I think air is leaking in.
Did you show adjusting the float?
Hello. I am writing to you because I have a question about Artcic 400 2004yr. I watched a video on your channel, but I'm not quite sure how to set the valves. There are two lines on the magnet wheel. How do you know exactly which one is responsible for adjusting the clearance? I understand that on one of them the valves will be rigid, and on the other one there should be a clearance and that is where I should make adjustments? Thanks
I have a 98 Timberwolf and it will not start cold like it is lacking fuel, i spray carb clean in the carb and starts right up, any suggestions what could be the issue? i put a new carb on it as well
Check out: th-cam.com/video/kOv8nhHUsq4/w-d-xo.html After watching this, you might have some answers. Let me know what you think!
I got a 93 timberwolf that the previous owner put a loud cobra muffler on it, where can I put a stock muffler to replace it?
And the throddle spring does not come with the kit correct?
Correct. Thanks for watching and the comment! www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports finally figured it out the throddle spring doesn't come on the cable side it's part of the carb valve spring found it on yamaha parts nation and yamaha parts house. Newbie here obviously lol
Rebuilt mine even bought a new carb still won’t run right I’ve adjusted everything took apart multiple times, going for a fuel injection atv one day sick of messing with carb crap not with only with it but with other stuff
Im sure you have, but did you put in a new spark plug? Sometimes it is the simple things that make the biggest difference. Let me know. Thanks for watching and for the comment. Let us know if you need anything else: www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports yes plug is good, it’s running pretty good could now had some trash in the tank I believe
Buyers beware if your carb isn't oem don't buy a kit just buy a new carb the idle screw already doesn't fit mine from this specific kit on a 98 timberwolf 250 2wd but the carb I have isn't oem so I guess that's why and can't get a refund!
Buyers beware. Never buy a knockoff carburetor for so many reasons! Check out: th-cam.com/video/kOv8nhHUsq4/w-d-xo.html for a good explanation!
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports yeah mine was used so it came that way but I was able to use some of the parts off your rebuild kit though
What kind of carb should I get that will work right when I bolt it on
@@SleepyFreshwaterLake-em4bj well my off brand worked out pretty good but now turns out my topend motor is leaking oil so um yeah...but as far as the carburetor it working good. However if you got the money I'd suggest getting a miniku name brand which is oem for those
How much was it
Do they make a stock muffler anymore for the timberwolf?
Yes they do! Let me know. I can get one shipped to you for $375. Also check out: www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports
Sorry I meant where can I buy a stock muffler for my timberwolf

I'm in desperate need of your help
First off I'd like to say I tell everyone this is the best instructional video channel ever.
I am a member of probably five of the Facebook groups.
All Yamaha by the way.
I'm a timberwolf freak.
I built so many that I amassed a pile of parts.
And about a month ago I had a heat stroke and had to stop working outside so I'm selling all my parts.
I bought what 2:28 2:28 2:28 2:28 was supposed to be a 97 4 X4 timberwolf and didn't have a chance to check it out.
That's the day I had my heart stroke.
Anyways I sold about five rear differentials off the Timberwolves.
But I got to this particular one I noticed right away it was different.
I'm pretty familiar with the bear tracker and noticed it was not the same as those either.
I have a hunch that is a big bear but I was hoping that you could provide me with some information.
I noticed that they had changed swingarms and had sort of rigged it up to stay on. So it's not the original swingarm on the frame.
Anyways I open the differential up and it looks brand new bearing seals everything together to look brand new.
I need to sell it but I can't identify it..
Is there anyway I can email you the photos?
It does have some number
I figure you would had the resources if you didn't right off the bat know but I really need to get this thing identified man I sure would appreciate it
