  • I take the 2003 Trailblazer 250cc with the cheapest top end kit installed on it and give it a test ride. I go as hard as I can, and try to really break it in to see if the kit can hold up. Will the cheapest top end piston and cylinder kit hold up? #Polaris, #Test, #Cheapest,

Well if you ran KLOTZ 2 stroke oil then you'd know if it was getting any by the exhaust smell because I had one of these and it was like brand new and they don't smoke at all really but it was getting proper oil mixture 🤷‍♂️

I also spent the few bucks and had my clutch rebuilt and wow did that make a huge difference lol it would creep forward at idle and could actually lift the front end after she got rebuilt and it didn't cost me barely anything!

I had a 2006ish that I got brand new, I must have had 800+ hours on the top end without ever doing maintenance. I’m now a Maintenance freak, but seriously, that Fourwheeler would
Not die. It was either wide open throttle or full brake application 24/7 too! Unreal

That’s probably the cleanest trailblazer 250 I’ve seen. The one I had was in really rough shape and it didn’t run, ended up trading it for a 2001 cr80. You should try a trail boss 250. Almost the same thing but I think the trail boss was a little bit more torquey. I had one and it was a nice little bike. Not sure of the year though I don’t think I ever looked it up.

I know a diehard Honda guy and he says these things were meant to ride and hard to kill. I recently just got my first quad and it's a 98 trail boss, an old guy had it then the kid I got it from. The kid I guess tried drifting it with the chain way to loose and it smacked a hole in the gear case when it broke so we are having to fix that before i get to ride this thing. Already did the seal because it sat for awhile. Ol boy told me to apparently it's got a new top end no idea what brand but it's only got 8 hours on it. I'm beyond excited!

I find that with new top ends you really have to take it easy the first few rides

I would never rely on oil injection, I would bypass that system and premix my gas.

Also another thing to keep in mind he said he premixed the fuel in oil which means he leaned out his fuel air mixture because he does not have the proper Jets to run pre-mixed fuel through the carburetor if you don't understand when you mix two stroke oil in your fuel and you are running an injector the jetting is set for straight gas not mixed meaning it needs more mixed gas then raw fuel when it is injected hence causing a lean condition which will burn out your top end in 20 minutes way to go there smart guy
