2023 Chery Omoda 5 review in Malaysia - All the features and a 10 year warranty. What's the catch?

Name all the features, big or small, that you would want to be included in your next B-segment SUV. Well, the Chery Omoda 5 is likely to have them. Seriously.
Speaking of names, 'Chery' is one that's pretty new to most Malaysians, but they are entering the market with a big splash by gunning right away for a very highly competitive part of it - and to win it'll have to shove aside the Proton X50 and Honda HR-V. It's not going to be easy, but the Omoda 5 looks confident.

Chery Australia has recalled 5901 examples of its Omoda 5, after discovering a defect which can result in brake failure for the small SUV.
The recall affects all Chery Omoda 5s sold in Australia since local deliveries began in mid-2023.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the bolt securing the brake pipe union may not have been tightened sufficiently. This could cause the brake fluid to leak and result in reduced braking performance,” Chery said in its recall notice.
“A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants, pedestrians and other road users.”

my suggestion: when reviewing/commenting on the rear space, you should state your height. That way your viewers will get the idea of how ample the rear space/2nd row is.

maan I am about to go buy this car (though in Indonesia) the driving being bad is making me second guess this one
the amount of tech and features are amazing, the fake exhaust makes me cringe and the bad driving (didn't feel bad on the test drive to be fair) everyone keeps talking about is killing my motivation to go and get it

It doesn't belong in a sports car but for something we'll be using mostly in the city, we'd happily live with a CVT
