It's not her last performance. This was her last live concert but not her last performance. Her last performance was in Bryan, Texas in March 1995. This video was shot in February of 1995 at the Houston Rodeo. Thank you from a Texan🙂
She was amazing. I was lucky to grow up listening to her when she was alive. My mom and I got to meet her backstage before her concert in 1992 in my hometown of Poteet, TX. I got to see her again in 1993. She was so warm and down to earth. My mom told her, “ Selena, we were supposed to go see his abuelita (grandma) in La Pryor (a small south Texas town like 2 hours from us) this weekend but he threw a fit and here we are!” 🤣 and they both laughed 🤭 I got a little embarrassed. She told me, “bye mijo” 👋🏼 before she went on stage. Her live shows were so entertaining and she was very interactive. I got to shake her hand a few times during the two I attended. She would bring people on stage to dance and sing with her. God, I wish she were still here. The more you learn about her the harder it is to accept that she’s gone. There will NEVER be a singer like her again.

The way her earning falls out so she pulls out and throws the other one in a split of a second 😂😂❤️ she was such a dynamic singer/performer such a tragic loss!
Yes that is her . She was shot by a woman that worked for her when Selena found out she was stealing money from her. She was in her twenties when she died. She was truly special. The dance she does is called a Cumbia and the Electric slide ......very fun to watch and dance her mother taught her the Cumbia :)
This is just another testament of how beloved Selena is worldwide. It doesn’t matter where you live in the world, you put her music on and she’s gonna make you so happy! RIP Selena!!!
This is Selena Quintanilla Perez, the Queen of tejano music! She married her first love Chris Perez who is the electric guitar player you can see him in the background. There were over 60,000 people in the Astrodome ! I loved the disco medley! Selena was so beautiful. Selena is a legend! Yes! She was murdered (a week before her 24th birthday) on my birthday March 31 1995 by Yolanda salvidar in corpus Cristi Texas. Its tragic the way she was murdered by her fan club president who is serving a life sentence! Selena quintanilla so beautiful and graceful. She was loved by all! I especially liked the part where she sings "on the radio" and she growls lifting her leg up and clinching her hand near her tummy like it hurt to hear the letter read on the radio! She was so exuberant full of life and love and living her dream for her dream to be cut short tragically it's just hurts my heart to this day. Selena was a beautiful soul such a graceful lady!
You guys are awesome and I'm glad I came across your channel. I wish you much success and look forward to more from you. 🤜🤛❤ Selena was a Mexican American Tejano (Tex-Mex) singer who was gunned down in a motel parking lot, in the middle of the afternoon, by the president of her fan club when she was 23 years old after finding out she was stealing from her fans. She was rushed to a local hospital where she was later died from her wounds. Her killer was apprehended after a police standoff in the motel parking lot that lasted a few hours. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I grew up right around the corner from her in Corpus Christi, Texas having attended the same schools as she did, so everyone in our neighborhood knew her and we were very proud of her and her success. She was so humble, smar, funny, and just a regular homegirl to those that knew her. The day she died, our high school principal interrupted our classes over the school speakers and announced that she was shot and had died. He was also one of her teachers when she attended school, so when he said that, his voice cracked while he was speaking and he started sobbing right before the sound cut out..(Man, I'll never forget the sound of his voice for as long as I live.)..Everyone just kind of froze and shocked. It was LITERALLY right before our last bell rang for the day and everyone gathered in front of the school; lots of kids crying. This was while the police standoff was still happening. Although I didn't know her personally, lots of my friends did and they were completely shocked and speechless. Selena was in the process of working on an English cross over album that she never completely finished but was released after her death. She is considered the Queen of Tejano music; however had she crossed over to an English audience (with her vocal abilities, dance technique, and stage presence) was predicted to have been more popular and more successful than any other female recording artist of our generation. We can only imagine the kind of art we would have witnessed coming from such an amazingly talented young woman. May she rest in peace. 💔🌹
Los Cano which school did she actually attend? Was it Ray? I ask because I'm from Alice ( living in Northern New Mexico since '95, moved here a little after her passing) and I tell people about her All the time. When she was a little girl she and the band came to play at our yearly Fiesta. When she started doing a mic check the whole fiesta ( including the carnival) stopped and watched Selena preform. And I used to worked at Best Buy in Corpus and at least twice came in ( by herself, no Entourage )and I asked her if she needed help. So just asking about the school to get my story straight. I heard it was Ray high school. SELENA!!!
@@jesse7603 she lived in Molina and attended West Oso Middle School but was home schooled throughout her High School years. She still lived in her very modest house in the neighborhood when she passed away, but I BELIEVE she was in the process of building a house along the Bayfront when she passed away. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's since been purchased and is occupied by someone else.
@@loscano Thank you brother. My Son goes to college in Hollywood right across the street from her star on Vine, right in front of Capital Records building. Gonna go see her newly wax figure there in Hollywood in a couple of months.

The dance she's doing is called a cumbia in the Tejano industry. I recommend you watch more of her Spanish performances. She did them all with that same heart & energy.
I recommend you watch that entire concert. It was her last. She was a great Tejano singer. She met her untimely death at 24 yrs old by her fan club president who was stealing money. She really cared about her fans. She also designed all of her outfits. She had opened a boutique in her hometown of Corpus Christi, TX. She was a legend. No singing lessons or dance lessons. All raw talent.
Selena Quintanilla Pérez Called the Queen of Tejano music, her contributions to music and fashion made her one of the most celebrated Mexican-American entertainers of the late 20th century. She was Born: April 16, 1971, Lake Jackson, Texas. Can you please react to Selena-No Me Queda Más HD ( Live From TMA 1994 ) Thank You
She's from Corpus Christi Texas.... Was born in lake Jackson Texas.... But she was from Texas.... Great reaction video.... I'm glad y'all liked her.... She's got the title here in Texas QUEEN OF CUMBIA... No other female tejano singer has gotten that title from her.... Even after life.... FOREVER THE QUEEN ❤️
Jennifer Lopez portrayed Selena in the movie Selena. Selena is known as the queen of Tex Mex. Unfortunately when she passed away, Tex-Mex Music slowly began to take a downfall in Deep South Texas. Till this day Selena is highly recognized with her own special day dedicated to her. This concert in Houston Texas was her last concert before her tragic death. She was one of the first crossover artists from Mexican to American music. she design her own clothing line wish she wore on that concert. She also orchestrated the Disco medley that she sang. Shattering the Houston Astrodome attendance at 66,000 people it is the biggest concert the arena ever held.
She was murdered by that psychotic woman Yolanda Saldivar who was her best friend. Yolanda was in charge of her fan club, but Selena's father had discovered she had been embezzling money from them. Yolanda is set to be released in 2023 not sure if that's the exact date, but it's coming up. Yolanda isn't safe, we hate her here in Texas with a passion.😤🤬 Selena's last concert was in Bryan, Texas on March 19, 1995. Houston, Texas was her last live concert. Guys, be on the lookout for Selena the series to be released on Netflix this summer or fall. If you are ever in Texas, please visit Corpus Christi, you will find the Selena museum there and of course, she was buried there too.
Selena paved the way for a lot of women in the tejano spot light considering it was dominated by men. Definitely react to more of her live performances especially the song “ Si Una Vez “!

she was only 23 when she died :( 2 weeks before her birthday and a few days before her 3rd wedding anniversary. this concert was one of her last concerts ever, you have to react to bidi bidi bom bom and como la flor from this concert too
Last big performance before she was murdered by her close friend and assistant (about to be caught embezzeling from her). Selena loved her fans and everything was for them. Such a tragic end to a great talent. Jennifer Lopez did a fantastic job portraying her in the movie Selena.
Yeah, SELENA was an amazing performer along with the rest of the family band Selena Y Los Dinos. Her Dad started the band. Her sister Suzette played on drums (but isn't on this vid due to an accident), AB her brother on guitar, Chris Perez SELENA'S husband as Lead guitar just behind her, her back up singers Fredy Correa (from the former group Barrio Boyz), and Don Shelton the guy dancing the 'Hustle' with SELENA. He passed away in 2014 from cancer. You guys should watch the Selena movie with JLO playing her. Also check out her husband Chris's book 'To Selena With Love'. Its a great real life story of his and SELENA'S life together. Chris is also an Entertainer. He's a Rocker. He has dedicated some songs to SELENA. Maybe y'all can play 'Best As I Can' and a few of his other dedications to SELENA sometimes. Anyway, Selena Y Los Dinos has tons of music out there you can React to and from this concert alone at the Astrodome one being 'Bidi Bidi Bom Bom'. In fact I hope you guys React to All their songs at it. Maybe sometime also y'all can React to her 'Bidi Bidi Bom Bom' music vid which they did back in '93. Sorry to ramble on. There's a 'Selena' Series coming out on Netflix next year 2020. Be sure to check it out. Great Reaction guys. Thanks so much.😍😘
Selena was amazing, and the fact that we don"t have her around anymore is a damn shame. She died so young and was right on the cusp of super stardom when she killed by a maniac. Rest in peace, Selena, and thank you for what you gave us in your short existence in the world.
I appreciate how not only did you liked Selena's performance but you gave a shout out for Mexico and I appreciate that I am so following your channel and also do a reaction video of Selena quintanilla tencho cumbia trust you'll love it it will make you want to dance. Yea man I know what you mean. Selina "QUINTANILLA" "NOT SELENA GOMEZ" performed well. And she was not born in Mexico but in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a the "Queen of Tejano" music before the woman who was robbing her shot her and killed her in the back as she was running for her life. God bless Selena "QUINTANILLA".
You guy's need to watch the Selena movie with Jennifer Lopez! Then watch some more of Selena's live performances and interviews. Then you'll understand why her death still remains a devastating tragedy in the Latino and specifically in the Mexican-American community. She was gonna be huge!
Exactly, we all loved SELENA. I remember that tragedy like it was yday. Will forever play in my mind. My son was 7 months old. Next year 25 like SELENA'S death Anniversary. Rip REINA.💝
This was LAST concert :( Her manager was stealing from her and when Selena found out she went to confront her. Upon going to her managers apartment she shot Selena and then attempted to shoot herself. But, she didn’t. Selena later died at the hospital. There’s a movie about her story called Selena, which was Jennifer Lopez’s big break. Selena was iconic in the American Latin community. “Anything for Selena’s!!!” We love you Selena!!!! Forever!!!
Selena was born and raised in Lake Jackson Texas. At Selena's age of 11 the family went bankrupt and their home was foreclosed on. That's when the family moved to Corpus Christi and where they lived when Selena was murdered.
Hi guys. Selena was murdered by an employee. Who was stealing cash from her boutiques. She shot selena in the back while she was escapin from hotel room. RIP X
hi guys 🎶👍🏻... the tracks The Last Dance and On The Radio were originally done by Donna Summer ... Donna Summer was the Queen of Disco ... she is a legend
She was shot and killed by her fan club president. This was her last concert before she died. She was only 23 years old:( Jennifer Lopez played her in the movie.
It wasn't her last concert. She had one after this - I think that's the one she wore her casket outfit in. :( This one was just her last televised/filmed concert.
Cyn's Corner her casket outfit was worn at the 1995 TMA’s because it was her last big achievement, but yes she had a few more small concerts before this. she reused the astrodome outfit for one of her last performances
@@flaritza7698 Oh yeah - I see that now she had a different outfit on for her casket, not the one she wore at her very last concert (which was in Chicago, I believe). It was a bluish-looking outfit or something. Not her Astrodome one though. Were there other concerts she had besides the Chicao one after Houston?
Cyn's Corner idk, i think after the astrodome concert she had a performance at a school in san antonio where she wore the astrodome outfit again but with a bun in her hair.
@@flaritza7698 Ah, okay - I only knew about the concert in Chicago after Houston. I have seen her in the Astordome outfit wearing a bun but didn't know when that happened chronologically.

Last big performance before she was murdered by her close friend and assistant (about to be caught embezzeling from her). Selena loved her fans and everything was for them. Such a tragic end to a great talent. Jennifer Lopez did a fantastic job portraying her in the movie Selena.
Selena loved Donna Summer I always liked her too
She's the Queen
Yes, she was killed this concert was her last one, she was 23 years old
Please react to "Como la Flor" by Selena
Selena Gomez was named after Selena Quintanilla. Her father was a huge Selena fan and named her after her to honor Selena.
Selena was The Queen of Tejano Music. She was The Best and her Music will Live on FOREVER.. WE MISS YOU SELENA. RIP OUR QUEEN. 🌹
She was truly amazing.
The Queen of Texas
I appreciate how not only did you liked Selena's performance but you gave a shout out for Mexico and I appreciate that I am so following your channel and also do a reaction video of Selena quintanilla tencho cumbia trust you'll love it it will make you want to dance. Anyone who agrees with my comment drop a like on this comment 🤗🤗🤗
They don’t make them like Selena anymore she’s a one and only 🌹
RIP The Queen 👑 🌹 💃 🎤
Viva Mexicoo thanks for your amazing reaction to this amazing woman that died too soon
There’s a movie about her SELENA. It’s worth watching
Estos ingleses no saben ni madres
You guy's need to watch the Selena movie with Jennifer Lopez! Then watch some more of Selena's live performances and interviews.
Then you'll understand why her death still remains a devastating tragedy in the Latino and specifically in the Mexican-American community.
She was gonna be huge!
Not just the Mexican community but to all people who loved her
Exactly, we all loved SELENA.
“Anything for Selena’s!!!”
We love you Selena!!!! Forever!!!
It was Selena's fan club president and they met up at a hotel.
Selena Gomez was named after Selena.
More Selena Quintanilla please! The queen👑
Thank you for reacting to the Queen of Tejano
This was Selena Quintanilla Perez.
Selena was born and raised in Lake Jackson Texas. At Selena's age of 11 the family went bankrupt and their home was foreclosed on. That's when the family moved to Corpus Christi and where they lived when Selena was murdered.
Mexican American Pride!!!
La Carcacha from the same concert will knock your socks off.
La gran artista, 28 años , no son suficientes , para olvidarla.....
You guys should check out cumbia medley by Selena! You won't be disappointed!👍👍

As my grandfather from Liverpool would have said: "She's a good turn..."
Liverpool is not a Chicago or ny so that info is unnecessary

Selena quintanilla live in our hearts
Hi guys. Selena was murdered by an employee. Who was stealing cash from her boutiques. She shot selena in the back while she was escapin from hotel room. RIP X
April 16th, 1971 - March 31st, 1995
hi guys 🎶👍🏻... the tracks The Last Dance and On The Radio were originally done by Donna Summer ...
