What is your choice of helmet when you ride?
I have the Harley Helmet but I do like the Simpson Helmet also

my favorite helmet is an agv modular out of the few I have out of the box just fit perfect then I have the Harley half shell doesn't look so good but fits pretty well and I can here the RG music and exhaust better with it

I'm on my 4th Shoei, RF 1200, light weight, matte black, fits me great, the wind doesn't pull my helmet, and I like choices of visor tints. Over my 30 years of riding Shoei has become my favorite. I enjoy your vlogs!

OK, I found you about a month ago and now I've finaly catched up. Yes, I've looked at all your videos in chronological order from the start, three years ago. First, your wievs on things makes me think that maybe there is a hope for your generation :-). Two, you are a spitting image of one of my favourite artist/ladies, Whitney Houston in her younger days. In fact, you look great. I use a couple of helmets, but my go-to-helmet is a HJC modular coz I usually ride in Thailand (100+ F) Please, keep doing what you'r doing and you'll be OK. Man I agree with your opinion. I have the same Simpson mod but opted for the matte gun metal grey. Have no complaints and actually love how light weight it is also! I have buddies that have full face helmets that are way heavier than my modular lol it’s well worth the price tag especially how versatile it is 🤙🏾

Hey Queen, how would you compare it against your bitwell lane splitter? Seeing you wear that helmet made me want to guy it but would you recommend this over that?

Thanks for the honest review. I have been looking pretty hard at this model to replace a pair of Scorpion EXO-900s that I've grown to hate. I've just been balking at the price. You didn't mention the weight though. How is that on the long trips?

My HJC IS-max 2 is heavy as hell.
I usually wear a medium.

I ride with the Shoei Neotec 2 and I love it. It's great overall but really good in the rain.

I have had my mod bandit since October 2020 I was a little disappointed that the outer visor was not antifog for paying $500. I did get the pinlock for it though, popped right in. I love how light weight and quite the helmet is it looks dope and feels good on my longer rides. I would definitely get another one.

I use a Harley Davidson Modular Helmet. The inner visor is perfection.

I've been using a Schuberth C3 for the last 6 - 8 months. It's comfortable and seems to be well made. I still use my Harley half helmet occasionally.
I was wondering if you uploaded a video on how to fix the drop down inner shield? Mine is also loose to where it doesn’t fully go back up in the helmet.. thank you!
Waiting on mine now but I'm using the clear shield with the photo pin lock shield so I don't have to worry about carrying 2 shields but I love me some Simpson

Do the front vents close? I live in MN and I ride in some colder temps.
Badass Woman rider. Just ordered my Mod Bandit in white, for summer riding. I can live with the drop-down visor, my Shoei does the same thing on lifting, they all feel clunky, not a big deal. Ride safe and always wear a helmet.
All brands seem to have the same inner shield problem. Great review.
Right now I have a Bilt modular with the built in blue tooth system and an older HJC modular. I am looking to replace them both. I've had them for quite a while.
I liked the Simpson Outlaw Bandit you had, No nonsense helmet, i know for everyday riding the modular flip up is nice though.

There should be a clear inner visor for nighttime made by Simpson. Probably I'll go for that for night time riding
I’ve been using the Ghost Bandit, but haven’t had good luck with the pin lock visors. The matte black doesn’t seem to scratch as easily. It looks like the modular piece doesn’t fit as uniformly and I’m curious how the road noise is.

I rock the neotec2 shoei…. Jus wish the visor was blacked out
I used an HJC IS-Max II Modular Helmet when I rode. It is under $200 and I have no complaints on it. The only safety regulations on it are: DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified.

You're more than welcome. Even though there are some other high quality helmets like Aria and Shoei, HJC is one of the few that was able to fit my big head!
I have the HD mod helmet. Love it except for stopping at lights the face shield will fog unless its cracked open a bit. The Sena audio fits and works well too. $200 before the audio. 9/10

New subscriber here. I ride a '16 Road Glide with an OEM stereo set up. With my Neotec I can't hear the stereo on the highway but with my Harley Davidson modular I can. So my question is can you hear the stereo on the highway? I guess I need to know if your rolling with a stock stereo also?
I have an intercom helmet set up but my concern on that end is over using those speakers in my helmet and have hearing damage.
So.....can you hear your stereo with the Simpson on on the highway?

When I use a full face helmet I use a Bell Qualifier and I purchased a transitioning visor, which was well worth the extra money.

Vent in the rear is an exhaust vent they pull hot air out, without it u can't get cool air in front. It would be like blowing in a bag that's already full of air

I have a HJC i90 Mod helmet that is very similar to the Simpson, in a gloss black.
How is the wind noise on the helmet?
This isn’t the first time I’ve read not-so-good reviews on Simpson customer service. I opted to buy a Harley-Davidson module helmet that’s been good to me.

I’d like to know how quiet you think it is at speed, unfortunately you don’t have anything to compare it too. Also what about wind buffeting. I have a Schberth C3 Pro, also modular, very quiet very well-made one of the best in my opinion. Cost like $579. Worth it!

@@QueenSit I like them all the LS2 line of helmets are affordable and they have different types full face modular quarter half whatever you need they got
Diggin on the LS2 also. Have a Verso and Metro. Drop down visor is a must for me
The visor on my Bell helmet darkens during the day and lightens at night.
That needs to be on every helmet
I have a question Queen, do you find this helmet to be loud as far as wind noise?? I know the main complaint with the original Ghost Bandit was the excessive wind noise.. Also you should get the SHOEI RF1200 helmet as a back up. Not modular, but it really is the best helmet and safest for the money.
Hey! The wind noise isn’t bad at all but it is there. It’s not entirely noticeable or annoying though for me

Helmets...? I don't like full helments, I've used Bandit 'jet' helmets for years coz they're light and airy and come in now, with ECE rating since about 2 yrs.
I have an ls2 modular helmet. But looking into simpson.
How is the Ls2?
@@QueenSit its alright. Its a lower cost helmet. Thats why I've been wanting to upgrade. And coming from a racing family in drag racing. Simpson has always been a big one.
Like mine a lot. Biggest complaint is that you have to buy the pin lock insert separately. I believe most of the other helmet companies include one. For the price of this helmet, it should be included. Otherwise I have no complaints.
Lrg was to big exchange for medium and it is TIGHT feel like the chin is real close to the mouth guard and getting sore on the side edges of the top head (boxhead shape) so I’m hopping this soccer ball overnight give me some comfort
If anyone got any break in advice let me know
I have a Harley Davidson modular helmet. It’s a pretty good helmet, because I could put it on without removing my glasses. The inside visor is pretty functional & I don’t have the issues you have with your inside visor. I agreed with you I’m yet to find any vents on any helmet that I actually feel air movement. Great review!

I have a Shoei Neotec II, I had a Simpson Mod Bandit but it was the loudest helmet I have ever had way to much wind noise the Neotec is so much better.
If that helmet got those many problems how is it safe. I agree with you that inside shield would get on my nerves also. I wear a harley helmet when I ride and it comfortable. But I guess it’s everyone’s preference on what makes them happy. Stay safe baby girl I’ll see out there.

@@QueenSit Well i just bought it recently, haven't tried it on. However a friend of mine has the original GT Air and i have worn theirs before. So from just wearing theirs and hearing his reviews, i really like the helmet. I have these braids now, so i can't put it on yet..lol!!!
Shoei is amazing. I got the rf sr and it is really comfy. Ive tried on a lot of helmets and think shoei is the best of all

@@QueenSit Hard to say Bandit feels good and wins in the looks department. AGV is the lightest and most comfortable helmet I've ever worn.
The future (hjc, ruroc....) is internal com options. At that price point simpson needs to step it up
I don't watch any motovlogger channels, just watch riding technique and bike reviews--so IDK why I'm here. But holy hell you look cool AF on a bike. Like seriously possibly the baddest look ever just eating taco bell on a Harley. And I don't even like cruisers!
I just picked up one today… I don’t really like my neotec2 too tight on my face… this one has more room..
It's sexy af and it's a modular ece rated lid (believing you) I wanted one, looks aside u can get more for less. Hjc I 90 for example. And not having a vent detent is a deal breaker for me. I MUST be able to vent in summer rain. also any helmet that isn't pinlock ready is a joke. (Wink wink simpson, icon...)

I seen this Helmet and Had to have it….!!! I was so disappointed, The Build Quality Sucks, I lost a shield trying to ride in light rain with the Modular Lifted, Coming off a HD HJC Modular Helmet, I was accustomed too but found out the hard way that all helmets are not the same. The Helmet is very loud, the Strap offer very little real estate to grab ( The Red Strap ) but if you want the “Cool Factor” and City Riding, This might be the helmet for you. Oh, If you have a Bluetooth System, The Ear Cavity in my opinion is not comfortable for long trips. Good Luck!!!!
