Plot-twist, Milla just went into 'becoming evil alien and destroyer of worlds' just so her friend Lilac had new fun adventures and a new villain to defeat. She is a good friend first and a good roleplayer second.
Well, you are one of the first if not THE first one who Rainbow S Ranked all the main stages. Definitely, the first one who did Rainbow S Rank all stages as Milla. I imagine it was pretty hard and in many stages, it took you several tries to do it. And you also have to deal with the timer as well! Congratulations!
Thanks! Yeah I might be the first one achieving by Milla! Actually the sum up is only a few of the stages are extremely hard to get rainbow S, some other stages I being stuck because I couldn't find the shields. BTW I ever trying to get Merga rainbow S from all the characters but that's too hard lol, Milla is the easiest one to beat her without being hit
I've Rainbow S-Ranked all the stages as Lilac, actually (and Battlesphere challenges, too). Didn't use shield potions, either. Can say that the Dragon Boost absolutely shreds everything. I don't have much proof, but I did record another run through of Weapon's Core (post-shield patch, since first time I did it without ANY shields because I didn't know there was one pre-patch) and included the credits, so I can probably post that if you're still feeling skeptical.
@@noizihonni8191 Wow! In spite of having Dragon Boost, it still requires a lot of skill! I really can't do it without shields at some stages (or maybe I didn't practice enough yet)
@@Ratteu Yeah, most of the stages weren't too tough, most of the ones I did have major issues with ended up having shields that I didn't know about earlier on in the stage, so that's on me. Can agree with you that Merga's a pain though: took me the most tries out of anything at 121 tries. Second hardest as a whole was actually Galactic Rumble from the Battlesphere, because the Shade Troopers and Monster Cube there absolutely suck. Inversion Dynamo took me the most tries of any regular level at 23, but half of those were trying to find the first shield, and after that, it was fairly alright, though I think I cut it close from what I remember. I think Mecha Madness would've been the absolute hardest had I not realized the challenge was pretty much pure RNG on attack patterns, and thankfully got a fix made on it that'll make it much more manageable for people like us. But as it stands, Merga's still the toughest. I did plan on doing Rainbow S as all characters too, but I'm shelving that because even with Lilac, that was absolutely nuts. Plus, some of my strats are so Lilac-centric (like the ones for Merga's phases) that I'll have to change them if I do the other characters (which have LESS I-frames), and that's not something I want to deal with right now. Still though, great job doing all of this with Milla!
@@noizihonni8191 Oh! So you're the one who shared at steam right!? The same amount of trying to beat Merga! I already thinking about that before you commented this since all Rainbow S is hard to get, especially with Battlesphere I see no one shared getting them all yet. Well I tried to finish all the Arena Rainbow S because of your sharing! I was thinking some of the arenas are even harder than Merga, but they aren't lol. (luckily I'm doing it at the time after Mecha Madness being updated) Galactic Rumble? What a big mess! I even got killed-killed once and it didn't count me win >:( Thanks for your appreciating anyway!
@@Ratteu I'm not gonna lie, I looked at the Shield extending potion and thought it was useless considering how little shields seemed to do for me but this is just Brilliant, it does kinda really take away alot from the idea of the Skill required to achieve a Flawless run if the system can be so Easily abused
Dylan: what costume is Milla wearing? Carol Tea: a scientist. Dylan: but she already is a scientist. In Globe Opera 2, Lightning Tower, Clockwork Arboretum, and Inversion Dynamo, you have 10 minutes to finish the stage within the par time. That's how much time you have to finish the stage before you were timed out in Classic Sonic games. Just felt I should share this fun fact.
Merga is one of the hardest things in game to no-hit (except pre-shield Mecha Madness), I did that on Neera, and it's certainly not pleasant, especially 6th phase. I also trying to complete her 6th as Milla with no shields stone, and it's 100% certainly a nightmare. Oh, and congrats with completing all levels on rainbow S rank :D
Wow really? To me Milla is the easiest to get Rainbow S at Merga stage (since you know how the last pattern works) Actually I really want to use Neera to get all Rainbow S, but I have problem with getting that at Merga... :0
About using no guarding stone with OHKO stone - that's nightmare because of randomness in throwing kunais, they can throw at you from long enough distance and then appear right in your face, I still don't know how to deal with it except for hoping that this wouldn't happen or I got enough reaction to change direction and not get struck by it
Lmao never thought of it! I think there has a lot of "adventure for so long to reach somewhere then escape so quickly" plots in different games That doesn't bother me at all
Third phase requires a little bit complex formula to pass, but to me the 4th phase and final phase are more tough (I don't wanna use the hacking way to beat it) Especially the final one is absolutely asshole
@@Ratteu Oh, my bad. When I mean third phase I mean final phase of the fight. The game (checkpoint + music wise, anyway) considers blue/blood/super as phase 1, eclipse and lilith as phase 2, and no wings as third phase.
@@Ratteu I don't have your amount of patience XD At this point I was done with Merga. This boss (and i'd argue character as a whole) was just not good. Bakunawa Syntax was a perfect final boss though.
So it took you about 3 hours and 46 minutes to clear all stages and this is within the par time for every stage. It is certainly longer than the previous game and it sure looks longer than Sonic 3&K and longer than Sonic Delta.
