This video really helped me understand the process before I started. Watching you I noticed the air filter holder (not cover) did not have to be removed for the throttle cable to be connected. Open the white plastic clip by loosening the small bolt and spreading the clip open with a flat head. Then push the cable through and attach the spring. Retighten and finis.,
Hi, I took the 3 bolts out but I can't get the pump off the shaft. I sprayed pb blaster on it and still no luck. Can anyone give me suggestions? Thank you!!!!
is there a way to drain this thing in winter? I don't want this to happen again. my pump just took a shit on me as well. (ball bearings almost shot through the housing). Was your motor locked up as well? (the pump on mine was holding it up as the bearings were lodged.
I don’t think so water Will always sits on the bottom where the pump but that is only happens once. Mine breaks when it was 5 years old but until now still working since I replace the pump and I always use in the job so you cannot prevent this to happen less use it’s less of tendency to break.
Kapatid, i have also a pressure washer i am on the process of removing the pressure pump so i can replaced the engine, my problem is the water pump is stacked with the engine, How will have it separated, what tools i should use. Thanks if you have any recommendation and suggestion
I was referring to the pump you replaced. How long have it and is it still holding? Mine just went bad and don't want to pay 150 for the OEM. Thanks for replying.
@@pinoyhandymanofalltrades How much the pump cost ? that link is not working.. are the ryobi pump is at same $200 price range like the triplex pump that on the dewalt and simpson ?
@@harisyoung4110 i have this for 8 years now so far thats the only problem that I encountered everything else all good i pressure wash a lot but this honda ryobi never let me down
Help! I just replaced my pump. Now, when I get it running, the engine dies as soon as I hit the pressure washer button on the wand. Completely shuts off. Strong smell of gasoline. What is the problem? Thank you!!
Hi if your engine won’t start continuously you need to clean the line of the gas which is coming from the tank you need to dis assembly that to clean. that is where your filter connected that is the carburetor
Hi did you figure it out burning smell gas is normal the only thing you need to take care and run smoothly is clean that cup were the gas is passing by very easy to do it just be careful when disassembled it there is a small needle in that floater and also clean the spark plug or replace it mine still running like new for 7 years and using it all the time take care off it they are expensive like $400 now at HD
It would be nice if I could find a video that actually showed how to do it rather than speed up through the important things and slow down to watch you open the stupid package.

Tap it with hammer around the shaft or get a fry bar or penetrating oil WD 40
It really took some pounding when I did mine they suggest using antiseize when installing the replacement they certainly didn't at the factory
Bro, the link does not work properly. How should I find the same water pump on eBay?

Hello po kumusta it’s been a while i think I forgot if I’m not mistaken 15mil socket wrench or may 14
Get a set of socket wrench and try those sizes if you look at the video thats where i remove the pump if you have the same problem.
The pump and engine will separated just remove all 4 bolts around the water pump and get a flat screw driver or fry bar to separate the pump.
Hi sir did you figure it out your pressure washer

Hi if not mistaken its only $65 plus i get it from ebay
Its on ebay $99 sorry not $65 just browse and you can see it
ryobi pump not using oil ?
only engine has oil on it. pressure pump is always lubricated by manufacturers
