Correct, I build in Rhineland last and wait for the damn. Sorry if I didn't cover this in this video. It is covered in my other guides and live streams.
Thanks man. Interesting that you mention that. I am putting out a video on the inner circle this coming Sunday. This is not a popular view, but I go Borman instead of Hess for the early PP gain. Buy military advisors after Borman gets better. Then go Todt, and turn him into Gorring. Then Goebels. It's incredibly powerful for the early game snow ball effects.
Hey I was just watching the same exact video that you did for germany before the dlc, oh also is it good to create a new division with only one cavalry, then to spam it to send volunteers or will that make it harder for me to create an actual army?
Thanks for watching. You can use the 5 army xp you get from the Rhineland focus and make a division with one infantry battalion and spam that way. If you want more volunteers that should work fine.
What do you do to prevent losing type VII subs? I built around 90 type VII subs in my first Gotterdammerung game but because they have no range they got smashed, I had to withdraw all the subs back to patrol the Baltic with about 20 left. I have started a new game experimenting with building naval research facility early and researching sonar, catapult scout plane and smoke screens to get the +1 point for naval engineering so as to research and build cruiser subs from about 1937 onwards. The cruiser subs have always performed well in past games, I expect they will still as long as I can build enough to patrol the Atlantic.
After I take France I base them at Brest. Then separate them from the level 1 subs and have them patrol the mid Atlantic. I've never seen them get sunk there. For higher risk areas just keep an eye out and pull them back to port if they are getting hit. Also spread out your sub fleet in groups of 8 or less. They are much more effective in smaller wolf packs.
@@ESG1 I wanted to see what sort of losses I would sustain with the typeV11 subs I don't usually build a lot instead build cruiser subs. The cruiser subs were very effective patrolling the Atlantic, I built 50 split into 10 groups of 5 wolfpacks and didn't lose any.
You should avoid rhineland for the civs IMO cuz you can get the dam modifier later on

i think you can take hess for the inner circle, but need to do it fast before he takes his flight
Correct, thanks for the help.
Love the short but insightful video! I'm testing out your guide tonight. Which inner circle guys do you suggest?

Another great video.
Thanks again!

Develop a naval research facility I suppose.
