Same Askari dokubo who was a criminal too ? Same tinubu that has criminal records and tinubu that made no change to Lagos . I think we forget that Lagos was the capital of Lagos before tinubu. Lagos is still a terrible state after 20 years of democracy. Mention things working in Lagos. With the bad road from ikorodu to ojota… and many other places. What did tinubu achieve. Nigeria’s GDP increased from 1999 to 2007 not under Tinubu. Tinubu did not bring in mtn and others because that was the major change in Nigeria.

I lived in Lagos State when Tinubu was governor? Tinubu didn’t do much n Lagos as Lagos was already developed and an economic capital of Africa before Tinubu even dreamt of running for office. Lagos was still Nigeria’s capital before IBB moved the capital to Abuja. Lagos State benefited immensely from being the former capital of Nigeria with all of Nigeria’s wealth poured into it. It was already developed before Tinubu was governor. The last military administrator B Marwa did a better job than Tinubu in many areas. He did more roads than Tinubu in a non discriminatory way while Tinubu punished towns that didn’t vote for him by ignoring them completely. If Tinubu ever rules Nigeria the Niger Delta and the Igbo nation will suffer immensely and they will be punished and ignored. They will become hopeless and strive to leave Nigeria in a civil war within 8 years. Tinubu will steal more oil wealth than the Hausa and Fulani combined in 8 years if his bad health even allows him to stay in power for that long. Tinubu has zero plans to save and unite Nigeria. This man used to be against Nigerian government militantly and he was never a model citizen so I do not recommend him speaking for us besides what concerns oil exploration in Nigeria. We all know that the politicians in power from the North controls the oil, the Navy, the armed forces, and the NNPC. Only those from the North the power to steal Nigerian oil in millions of barrels. To stop oil theft in Nigeria the current political party must be kicked out of power for 16 years. Our oil must be monitored and technology must be used to measure it daily like a petrol station meter. If oil fails to reach its destination you know which pipes was tapped and you will go through it and find it easily.

    1. Weak, compromised and ineffective leadership.
    2. Weak governance and institutions.
    3. Weal legal environment
    3. Impunity: no consequence for bad behaviour or legal breaches.
    4. Weak engagement of host communities.
    5. Poor application of technology.
Oil is a finite resource. The world is gradually pivoting towards green alternatives. Use the value from oil extraction to speedily develop new areas of economic activities that could sustain economic growth in the future just like Norway, UAE and recently Saudi Arabia have done. To begin with, Anambra was established in 1991, and Awka, a small town, was designated as the state capital, whereas Lagos became the Nigerian capital in 1914 and was created as a state in 1967. Apart from being the former federal capital and enjoying massive development and investment by the FG, Lagos is 24 years older than Anambra. There are many federal government projects in Lagos that are bringing billions of naira in tax revenue to Lagos State, but I doubt if there are any FG projects in Anambra. Anambra is one of the least indebted states in Nigeria, with about 72 billion naira in debt, and if not for Obiano, Anambra could have been debt-free, courtesy of Peter Obi. Lagos, on the other hand, is the most indebted, with over 800 billion naira. We have to put sentiment aside and try something new, just as other countries are doing now. Another election is just four years away. If he doesn't perform, we will try another person. We will keep searching until we find the right person. We should stop recycling leaders because no career politician will make any change in Nigeria.

Lagos ran into a problem because Ambode discontinued the Legacy. BRT started from Tinubu but was consummated by Fashola, Bridge, and Road building started from Fashola but was consummated by Ambode. The APC themselves threw Ambode out because he was not following the party's Legacy. The present governor was the head of the infrastructure under the Tinubu government.
