First time seeing the channel? I'm HALF PEEPS (aka peeps4321 or Samuel). I make video game animations here on TH-cam, mainly using SFM (Source Filmmaker, animation software running on Valve's Source game engine) and S2FM (Source 2 Filmmaker, the updated version of SFM running on Valve's Source 2 game engine). Most of my videos are related to Valve Software (mainly Half-Life and Portal) but don't be surprised if another franchise pops up occasionally. Starting TH-cam back in 2013, in 2020, I hit my first 1,000 subscribers (took me long enough, I know...) and subsequently hit 10,000 in 2021. My ultimate goal is to reach 100,000 subscribers. As unrealistic as that may be, I would love it if you subscribed and joined me on this journey! I hope you enjoy the content!
Half-Life is a series of first-person shooter (FPS) games developed and published by Valve. The games combine shooting combat, puzzles, and storytelling. The original Half-Life, Valve's first product, was released in 1998 for Windows to critical and commercial success. Players control Gordon Freeman, a scientist who must survive an alien invasion. The innovative scripted sequences were influential on the FPS genre, and the game inspired numerous community-developed mods, including the multiplayer games Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat. Half-Life was followed by the expansions Opposing Force (1999), Blue Shift (2001), and Decay (2001), developed by Gearbox Software. In 2004, Valve released Half-Life 2 to further success, with a new setting and characters and physics-based gameplay. Portal is a series of first-person puzzle-platform video games developed by Valve. Set in the Half-Life universe, the two main games in the series, Portal (2007) and Portal 2 (2011), center on a woman, Chell, forced to undergo a series of tests within the Aperture Science Enrichment Center by a malicious artificial intelligence, GLaDOS, that controls the facility. Most of the tests involve using the "Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device" - the "portal gun" - that creates a human-sized wormhole-like connection between two flat surfaces. The player-character or objects in the game world may move through portals while conserving their momentum. This allows complex "flinging" maneuvers to be used to cross wide gaps or perform other feats to reach the exit for each test chamber. A number of other mechanics, such as lasers, light bridges, tractor funnels, and turrets, exist to aid or hinder the player's goal to reach the exit.

Valve should really think of hiring some of these amazing animators, because god-damn, this was better than what we got in the actual game.
But they didn't animate anything ? Everything is taken directly from the game they just added some camera angles a lot of unnecessary effects too. That is some kind of 'Nintendo hire this man' take.

Something alot of people don't realize or don't talk about is the fact, it was a meme for a while that in G-Man's briefcase was half life 3, in the end, half life 3 was basically in g-man's breefcase 😱

this is really, really good. only critique I'd add is that it should be paced down just a little bit - it feels too fast. some pauses would be better. additionally, i personally am of the opinion that the 'ambient sounds' - outside of the conversation itself, are too loud, and derive from the clarity and clearness of the conversation(s) between G-Man and Alyx.
Here before this gets 10 million+ views and a million likes.

My half life and portal timeline.
1943: aperture science and black mesa were established.
1987: cave Johnson dies and Caroline becomes CEO of aperture science.
1990: the black mesa team were formed and included members like Dr breen, Arne Magnuson, and Eli vance.
1998: Gordon joins black mesa.
2004: Wallace breen, Eli vance and Arne Magnuson were testing an experiment called Cascade resonance. But it goes haywire and Eli vance, Wallace breen, and Arne Magnuson escape black mesa. Gordon disappeared by the g-man and if he accepts the g-man's offer he becomes a hired employee for him. But if he refuses to accept his offer he goes into a planet filled with aliens. Adrian Shepard would become the g-man's hire and take over the events of half life 2 and its episodes if Gordon refuses. Caroline died
2010: chell was tested in aperture science and defeated glados but was unconscious. Chell was grabbed by a robot and dragged her into the relaxation room. Doug rattman puts her in stasis to save her. He puts himself in stasis to survive.
2011: the combine started invading and the war began. Wallace breen a former black mesa scientist made negotiations with the combine by awarding them by surrendering. Some of the citizens choose to join the combine by going into a device that transforms humans into combine trans humans and some resist them and got turned into stalkers. Inside the combine trains at Nova prospect and the citadel are humans that join the combine became trans human soilders and people who resist the combine or member of the resistance became stalkers.
2024: the g-man wakes up Gordon Freeman in a combine train to city 17. He met Barney Calhoun a security guard from black mesa. He was blending in to help Gordon to join the resistance. He makes his way to the base and was attacked by combine soilders until alyx saved him. Gordon made his way to black mesa east until the combine raided it. He meets a former priest named father Grigori who is now rebel who set traps after the combine unleashed headcrabs to ravenholm. Grigori helps Gordon escape ravenholm and the fate of father Grigori remains a mystery either that he escaped the collapse of the citadel or he died and stayed to keep fighting. After learning that Eli was captured Gordon makes his way to little Odessa and met with Colonel cubbage. After defeating the gunship Colonel cubbage congratulates Gordon and tells him that Eli needs him since he is held at nova prospekt. The fate of Colonel cubbage remains a mystery but it's likely that he left with the remaining resistance members to another location when the citadel started to collapse. The destruction at nova prospekt began the uprising. Gordon made his way to the citadel and found Eli, alyx, Wallace, and Judith. Wallace breen falls to his presumed demise when Gordon tampered with the machine. It's unknown if he survived his fall or not or has made way to escape the citadel collapse. Gordon evacuate citizens and resistance soldiers from city 17 with Barney Calhoun to unknown location. Gordon and alyx escaped until their train collapsed. Gordon and alyx make their way to white forest base to defend magnusons rocket. Gordon defeated the striders and hunters and launched the rocket and neutralize the portal. Eli vance was killed by an advisor. The g-mans saw that Gordon is no longer used to him since the vortigaunts saved him.
2019: the g-mans traveled back when alyx vance was 19. Alyx went through the quarantine zones and hears a woman talking to an advisor about the g-mans inside of the combine prison vault. Alyx wants to get rid of the combine and the g-man shows her in the year 2024 when her father died. The g-mans reversed the time before Eli was killed. Alyx saved Eli when she killed the advisor. She was left in stasis after that. Eli plots revenge and tells Gordon they have work to do by going to the Borealis to find Judith and save alyx. The story of Eli vance, Gordon Freeman, alyx vance, the g-man, issace kliener, Arne Magnuson, Judith mossman, and Lamar remains a mystery.
2074: 50 years after the citadel collapse chell wakes up from stasis and was Freddy by Wheatley. She replaced glados with Wheatley and starts going crazy. Chell returned and defeated Wheatley. Glados release chell to the surface. It could be that the combine was already defeated when she was in stasis. The story chell remains a mystery. Glados is happy to get rid of her and has 2 robots as her test subjects.

Jaw-droping animation. But it misses one BIG detail. When GMan asks Alyx what she wants, on her anwser his eyes glows and his shadow (as i think) sees in a future to what consequences her request could lead and what GMans employees would think of it.

It's well made, but there are a couple of issues I have with it. The constant lightning at the start was a bit distracting, and the places they went to were rather busy. It takes some of the focus off of what was being said.
the real question is where is she ? what happened to her ? is that xen ? or is something where she cant escape.

Half Life 3 's story could be that Gman summons his seven employees Freeman, Shephard, Calhoun, Alyx, Chell, Colette and Ivan to fight the Combine.
It can also be explained that Gman 's superiors are from a 5 dimensional race that delegated the management and administration of planet earth to Gman a 4 dimensional being also that Combine represent a threat to Gman 's, hence he Gman needs its 7 employees.
Calhoun and Chell aren't employed by the gman, Colette also might not have been. Freeman is most likely no longer employed after this ending. -And Ivan isn't cannon.

Gman not only hired Freeman, but also Calhoun, Shephard, Alyx, Colette, Chell and Ivan.
The Combine represent a threat to the Gmans domain, is because the Gman needs his seven employees.
Ivan:
In the 80s Ivan, a professional astronaut and motorcycle fan, was hired by Black Mesa to make the first contact with tge unkown world of Xen using the Half Life Blue Shift teleporter machine, Ivan is the first employee hired by Gman before Freeman, his beard and obeseness can be explained by Gman not putting Ivan into stasis, but rather Gman keeping Ivan active, so that Ivan will do Gmans bidding.
Alyx:
Gman saves Alyx in Black Mesa ,since he sae Alyx as a competent employee, in Half Life Alyx, Gman hires Alyx along with Freeman, Calhoun, Shephard, Calhoun, Chell and Ivan.
Colette:
After Half Life Decay, Gman hires and saves Colette Green, leasing Gina Cross to die on Black Mesa.
Chell:
After 50,000 years in Portal 2, Gman saw Chell as a competent employee, Gman hires Chell using time través.
Calhoun:
He may have been hired by Gman between Half Life 1 and Half Life 2, after he escaped from Black Mesa.
