- Swatching the FULL collection of the new L'Oreal Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipsticks! These are supposed to have 16-hour wear, bold color payoff and a comfortable matte finish with a lightweight feel. They come in 12 brand new matte shades and I purchased mine at Ulta!
I compare these to the L'Oreal Pro Matte Liquid Lipsticks as well as the NYX XXL Lingerie liquid lipsticks to give you guys an idea of how these feel and wear on the lips.
WEAR TEST UPDATE:
These have great color payoff and they last a long time IF you don't eat or drink. I noticed that these transferred a lot when I was drinking my water throughout the day. They do feel very comfortable when it comes to a long-wear lipstick, though. The stickiness isn't as apparent if you apply thin layers on the lips. Overall, it's a good liquid lipstick but it won't be my choice for a transfer-proof, super long wear lip product.

Typically I'm in the medium shade range with neutral undertones. These are the shades I've used in the past, but they may vary since I do get very tan in the summer and lose a lot of color in the colder months. It just depends on when I've tried them!

What's your favorite long-wear drugstore lipstick?
Thank you for the swatches! The Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink and Vinyl Ink lippies are the most long-lasting formula I have found. If I don't use an oil-based makeup remover it'll still be there in the morning 😂

Maybelline Vinyl! But if we include Korean makeup, Etude House's Fixing Tint is my #1 ride or die
The lip lingerie xxl from Nyx is definitely my go-to option from the drugstore! I don't really do liquid lipsticks often anymore and much prefer just a matte lipstick crayon situation like the Nars matte lip crayon or powermatte lip, or something more whipped like the Nyx smooth whip (those are fantastic, definitely bought a bunch after seeing your lip swatches).
For a comfortable lipstick that I know will last through partying and drinking, the NYX XXL all the way! They don't last at all through eating but for my other purposes and how comfortable they are, it's my #1.
The Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink I find a little uncomfortable because of how thick and tacky it is, takes a long time to fully dry, but it's the one that best holds up against *most* food. If I know I'm going to eat, I'll wear these.
I always find L'Oreal misses the mark with their neutral tones. They lean very pink or very light beige and you reacting to the light neutral colours was so relatable since I have a similar skin tone to you. PS can I just say I love your lip swatch review videos. They're the first thing I look for when I want a review of a lip product!

I love their box of chocolates shades but they are discontinued, I also like nyxs lingerie and suede matte collection they are also discontinued ALSO I loved some colours from Mac like fresh brew, kinkster and Yash THEY ARE DISCONTINUED TOO. all brands just make pinky nudes now while I want no pink hue on my brown lipsticks 😭

I tried the colour rouge for a while now and I have to say I am so happy about it, it lasts long, smells good und I can put it on my lips so easy without drawing anything on my skin

Ah thank you! I don't but I just used the Makeup by Mario master mattes palette to make the smokey wing and topped it with a little bit of eyeliner as well! I think the inner corner is also just from that same palette!

Currently, my long-lasting glossy fave would be Maybelline Vinyl. Matte long-lasting would be a tie between L'Oreal Rouge Signature Matte Lip Stain and NYX Smooth Whips!

lipstick shopping is pain …I will spend hours looking and swatching ( in my hands)and it’s beautiful while I’m standing under shopping malls lights .once I reach home it’s another story either it’s too light or dark for me 😒.

Someone lock away my wallet, gah. I want theeeeese! I love long wearing lippies, even if they suck all the juice from my lips. But I have a big stash of lip stuff already, sigh. On another note, I really do love your makeup style so much. I'm having a fair bit of breakout because time of the month and stuff, and watching how very nice you still look without caking up with concealer is giving me such a confidence boost

Ugh I hate this lipstick so much. L'Oreal products are so overly scented, never actually dry "matte" (their idea of matte is not as shiny as vinyl). Tacky, dark colours are patchy, feels gummy.... PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY and get something else!
