    Thanks. I was messing around with a spring compressor getting nowhere and this looks way easier.

    Norman No Mates here, gave you a mention on my video. I have just uploaded it. I changed the rear coil springs on a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. I am in OZ. I watched yours before I gave it a try. I was easy as you mentioned.

    Good video - I replaced mine a few years ago - used Moog 81085 springs. Just added some Bilsteins to the rear now that they make a set that bolts right up. Also in New England and I had to cut all those cam bolts out with a sawzall on my 06 - the bolts get fused in the bushings. They wouldn't move anymore and I couldn't get it aligned. That is a pita

      stapleboss can you share the link to the rear Bilsteins

      @@hassan5601 Sorry for the delay - just saw this. For the rear you want Bilstein 24-276801 - they bolt right up like factory and are very nice back there.

      Did you find that the Moogs had an extra 1/4 rotation? How did you align them with the arrows?

    I cracked two 19mm sockets yesterday trying to take that bolt out yesterday 🙃

    Would this be similar for an Infiniti QX56?

    Scott, when you did the rear for the kia sedona were the rear coil springs as easy to remove as the armada?

    • @supra865
      @supra865 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, the bottom coil on the spring snapped right off from rust. Im changing the springs and shocks.Hopefully no surprises.

      @@themarginalmechanic5928 i had the fronts replaced by the dealer when i got the recall notice. The lowers in the rear have some surface rust but doesn't look too bad.

    You did all that work, just to find out it was the wrong part, what happened afterwards, did you get the right parts and replaced it the way you planned in the beginning???

    You might have ordered the spring for a Armada with air ride which are shorter. You need to specify non air ride for the longer springs by about 1"

    How did you resolved the issue? I'm installing new, heavier duty springs and the have an extra half rotation.
