HOW TO USE A WIRELESS HEADSET & USB MICROPHONE AT THE SAME TIME ON PS5

Had some trouble connecting when I purchased my new microphone. Hopefully this video helps anyone else who had the same issue!

Hey! I added a USB mic...but this thing picks up EVERYTHING. Controller clicking, sound through headset, fan on other side of room. Do you know of a way to lower the mic-threshold? I can go into mic-> adjust level...but this is just the volume of the mic, not the threshold. Any ideas would help! thanks

IDK about your mic specifically but my mic has a knob on it that changes its sensitivity they’re called pick up patterns. So the way mine is set up is so it only records what's in front of it. My ps5 is behind it and i cant really hear it on mine.

The method in the video should work with that microphone. I don’t have that one so I’m not 100% sure it works with that mic specifically but it should

@@ihebkhanfir8529 mine worked, your headset should first be plugged into your ps5 and then plug in the hyper x and if that doesn’t work then you just unplug the wire that’s connected on the mic itself and then plug it back in and it should work

I had it working then I cut the 5 off came back later. Same settings as when it was working. Now it’s not picking up my voice on my usb mic

Make sure the mixamp is set to PC and make sure you unplug the mic and plug in back in after you turn on the console

So I use Astro a50s but when I connect the fifine mic to the main microphone output then it cancels my audio in my headset and changes my headset output

Hmm this might not work but i have the a40s w the mixamp and when i turn the mixamp to PC instead of PS5 and use this same method it works for me. I dont know if the A50s have that same function but id test that out and see what happens if it does. Good luck ✈️

I have a rode video mic pro+ and when I connect it to my ps5 it doesn’t even show up. I looked under microphone settings but it wasn’t there. I have been trying to do this for a couple days now. Do you know how to fix it?

If the microphone is compatible with a ps5 it should ask you the second you plug it in whose profile the microphone belongs to regardless of if you have a mix amp or not. If you haven’t already, try plugging it in from the back. Don’t know if that makes a difference but that’s how my mic is plugged in.

Depends on the type of wired mic/headset you have. I have the Astro A40s w the Mixamp for my headset and a Fifine microphone. You have to do a little work around to make it capable. I have another video on my channel for that, hopefully it helps you out.
